This is my first grow. They have been flowering for 33 days now.
What do you guys think?

I"ll let them flower for probably 60 days, will that be enough or too much maybe?

In the last picture I did a party cup grow, since a had 1 extra clone. It's small but it's cool. :)

It is hard to judge this early on. I usually start watching the trichomes at the beginning of week 7. That is the best way to know where the plant is in the flowering cycle. If you checked them now, they are probably all clear. Next they will start to get milky and then amber. Most people like a combination of some milky and some amber.

Blue Cat: Your pistils still look pretty white. From the size of the photos I can't tell much more. Do you have a microscope? You can get one from Walmart for $15, plus shipping. Look at the trikes on the pistils and when they darken to beige you should be ready to harvest. At least that's been my experience.

Yeah I learned something new, I thought the hairs had to darken.
I don't have a microscope, but I'll try to get one.

Thanks for the info!

I just bought a Hand Held Micro. and I hate it!!
Next time I'm in the city I'm getting a 30X Eye Loop (their even cheaper)
The Micro is too hard to see with and you have to place it right on the plant and I'm sure the
plants trichomes are getting knocked off from it.

The hand held microscope is great. I take a sample of a small fan leaf right next to the bud. I take it to my work table and sit down and go over the whole leaf. I have found this to be a good indicator of where the pant is in overall maturity. Then the leaf goes into the trim container. This is much easier than trying to steady the microscope and take a reading from the bud on the growing plant.

Its hard to tell, but it really depends on the strain your growing. I grow mainly indica dominate plants and even though they say 8 weeks to finish, almost everytime I flower by the time I get to day 49 the hairs are all red and the tricomes are turning amber. So Id say you prob got 2-3 weeks to finish. Get on Ebay and get a 30x pocket microscope ($8) so you can tell when your tricomes are changing. I like to let them get 1/2 cloudy 1/2 amber or 3/4 cloudy 1/4 amber. Hope this helps
