First grow

This is my first post on this forum and I hope that i can get lots of help and help others and my growing expertise expands. So i started growing 3 differnent strains, Millenium Bud, El Nino, and Lowrider 2. its been about 3 or 4 weeks since i germanted them, kind of forgot exactly (too many blunts). but i started them in paper towels and then had them under 24 hours from a 1000 watt HPS from the get go. They are in some really good organic soil that i got at a local hydroponics shop. I got some nutrients for the veg stage and now im waiting for when i start 12 on 12 off. also they are now about 10-"14" and bushy as hell, and the stem is the size of my middle finger, shit is crazy. i figured if anyone had any suggestions or any experience growing these strains that would be great.
