first grow

How big are they? Do you mean 19 days since germination? They look small from the photo if it's from germ'. What sort of light you using?

2 of them are about 3-4 inches tall and other two are 5-6 inches tall.. is that to small for almost 3 weeks old?

Depends how long they took to germinate. Some seeds can take up to two weeks to germinate. If they germinated in 2 days then yes I think they are small, even in soil. How far away is the light? Have you started fertilising yet?
24 days after germination my plants were ready for flower and between 12-18" tall, and in soil.

they took about 3-4 days to germinate. the light is about 12 inches away and iv been fertilizing them for about 10 days now GH flora 3-part

pots are 6 inches.. ph is around 6. my grow box is 4' tall, 3' wide, 2' deep.. would a 400watt light be suitable for my space?

you can drop a 250w to like 6-8 inches above the tops. they do look a bit small but they do look good. a 400w will create a LOT of heat in that space. id only recommend it if you have a cool tube fixture or an enclosed, vented light hood with a fresh air intake and exhaust for the light alone

If you can add any more light make it flouro. Just drop the 250 down till it doesn't make your hand feel uncomfortable when you place it over the tops of the plants. You got a fan?

i got a small computer fan blowing across the tops of the plants and 210CFM inline exhaust for fresh air.

i do not have a aircooled hood just a reflector. the box sits at about 28* C with the light on, if i got a 400w with a aircooled hood do you think it would keep the temp less than 30*?

They look GREAT HURLEY.. you should consider flowering NOW.. especially if you are growing with CFLs..

what size are your pots?

cheers

Thanks Garden Knowm. 6" pots. not sure of the volume.. im using s 250w hps i want to let them get to about 10" then i will flower.

Try to transplant to 3 gallon pots. Once you hvae 6-8 nodes... you can flower NOOOOOO problem...

cheers

i look forward to more pics..

: )

Its not really the HEIGHT we should be looking at .. but rather,

HOW MANY NODES?

and

Do you have any secondary growth?

iloveyou

im goin to transplant pretty quick here.. the two shorter ones have quite a bit of secondary growth, the taller ones not so much..they're at about 6 nodes
