First grow what the heck is wrong with these plants

Okay so this is my first indoor grow, this is what i am using

i have three plants in mc soil , ( yes bad i know) ! I am using t5 lights that i am running 18 hours a day. These plants are so weird looking leafs look all retarded, but they just keep growing. Should i start 12 on and 12 off or keep them going not sure what to do sense some of the van leafs are starting to die, also can i remove these fan leaves when they die. Any help or thoughts thanks !!!!

from the photos to me it looks like you may be feeding them a little too much or to often, or you may have some spider mite check under your leaves for bugs and if so spray them with mite killer. and if none are these are true then you can take the dead leaves off but try to leave as many as you can on.

na man no spidermites, are your stems of the leaves that are damaged red? if so then it looks like a phosphorus deficiency n out of balance ph. let them grow a bit more to you see sum more colas.

The soil is too rich, but theres not much you can do about that at this point. Flushing can make it worse due to the water soluable nutes in the MG soil.
Your plants are actually in pretty good shape. The plant uses its bottom leaves kind of like a bank. If it needs some nutrients it takes them from the bottom leaves (that dont get as much light and are therefore not as helpful to the plant) , and if there is an excess of nutrients it tries to store them up in the bottom leaves.
I think you should start 12/12 SOON. They are going to get MUCH bigger during flowering and I'm afraid that you are not going to have enough room or enough light to flower them properly.
Dont remove any leaves that are not totally toasted. Let the plant use the "bank".
The other thing I want to mention is PH. are you testing your PH? the ammonium based ferts in the MG soil will slowly lower you PH over time. If left unchecked this could cause a lockout later in flowering. I already see some signs of a PH problem. Namely some spots and the twisting weird looking leaves could also be a PH problem.
Those plants are going to be BIG. Id say 6 feet easy. Id would recommend you transplant into a bigger pot (with good soil and good drainage) and flower them.

1st you need a reliable PH tester. You could get the paper strips at the pet store (fish aquarium supplies), but i recommend you get a digital tester. The idea is to test the water before you pour it into your pot. then adjust the PH appropriately. Then water your plant untill water comes out the drain holes on the bottom (this is how you should be watering anyway). Collect the runoff water that has gone through your soil and test the PH of that. That will give you and idea of your actual soil PH. For soil you want it as close to 6.5 as you can get it. anything between 6.0 and 7 should be OK. 6.0 is TEN TIMES more acidic than 7.0
If you really want to be successful all the info you need is right here at RIU. Read the GrowFAQ! (upper left on screen). Read ALL of it.
Look into using hydrogen peroxide. Look into using epsom salts. With all the macros in MG soil your going to eventually need to add some micros. Oh yeah you better learn about macro nutrients and micro nutrients!
Use your Google search! What ever question you might have, chances are someone else has already asked it, and a google search will quickly turn up the answer!

honestly its pretty easy to find this info.
Most people probably use the PH+ and PH- chems they get at the hydro store.
To lower PH I use vinegar. You could use a lemon, or any acidic fruit like that. You're only going to need a few drops per gallon to make an adjustment. If you add any nutrients to the water that will also lower your PH.
To raise PH i use lime, but this is a slow acting PH buffer. I put it in the soil to begin with to keep the Ph from ever getting too low. Hardwood ash, bone meal, crushed marble, or crushed oyster shells will also raise PH in soil.
