Hey everyone,

I came here knowing there are lots of grow veterans and even some growing novices capable of helping me along my way. I worked for a caregiver for about 4 months recently and found pretty quickly kneeling before green beauties that this is what I want to do. Not knowing a damn thing about nutrients I am carbon copying his set-up :/ I'd like to know what you guys think about them and when to introduce. I'll be starting my grow with 2 5 packs of TGA subcool Cheesquake and Deep Purple. These strains seemed like a great place to start and his genetics are the only ones i have experience with.Ace of Spades and Vortex pulled 6.5-8 ounces in front of my eyes along with Agent Orange, Third Dimension, and a couple others I can't recall of the top. Basically, I cannot deny those results. I also have 4 jillybean clones and 2 un-named at the moments (cut came from someone who is out of contact at the time being. May not be TGA :( ) I'm sure to get more of his genetics in the future when my first crop rolls in, pheno-selecting his seed packs looks pricy. HOPE I GET A GOOD MOTHER!!!! cross those fingers.

I'm using Future Harvest Development's Holland Secret nutrient line I included the chart with the pics. I forgot to pick up a bottle of B+ which may be attributing to the slight problems I'm having. In the pics above one of the JillyBean clones is yellowing in the middle. I think this is do to me hitting it with week 1 veg nutes like an idiot. so, I've cut down to 1/4 of what is recommended for week 1 in the chart included. also my hardiest Deep Purple seed is yellowing on the edges, Think this is due to the early/hard nute'ing. I worked for a caregiver But, I worked with plants after topping everything before-hand I'm ignorant to. umm yeah there's a spider plant there for my experimentation for being new to this seedling/root building stage. I'm also using 1ml/gal of rapid start, 1/2 tsp/gal Oregonism (in place of GW shark,) 1ml/galPro-Tek (heard it makes stems hardy,) and 1ml/gal planticillin to top it all off. When do you suggest I stop using Pro-Tek/? My old employer had me write it on the bottle and I can't recall.. I believe week 2 of flower which is when you stop oregonism/great white shark as well? I also think you're supposed to stop using Rapid Start 2 week of veg. but that seems really soon to me and is probably longer. lots of half known variables here and want to grow dank, open to advice.

You're going to have a hard time getting some of the stoners around here to read all that .... LOL ;)

I'm not an expert on growing, but the few pointers I can give you is to watch your PH levels in your water. I made the mistake of not monitoring mine very carefully and it almost killed some of my plants before I could get it under control on my first grow. Even a cheap meter will work for you.

You're probably right about the too long to read thing lol but, i don't want a shitty bias opinion from a lazy poster anyways ;) thanks for the advice, I skimped out on a PH meter for now because I didn't think it'd be a big deal really. Obviously, the PH or something else is a pretty major problem so I'll be picking one up today. thanks for the reply

It's 6 days later and my seedlings and clones are looking much better. Got a General Hydro PH kit today so i'm testing that now. I am down to 5 Deep Purple, 4 Cheesequake, 4 jillybean clones, and 2 still un-named clones. Clones are on the bottom row Jill to the left, and the un-named gals to the right. In the two upper rows, on the left, i have the 5 Deep Purple and on the right the 4 Cheesequake. In the second picture I've set aside a Deep Purple seedling that looks absolutely nuts. It's foliage grows like a head of cabbage or some shit.

I would also like to add that the stems on these seedlings are INCREDIBLE. I've never grown TGA from seed or anything from seed for that matter so, I was wondering if all TGA seedling stalks are so hulky. If not I guess my 1000w MH and that pro-tek stuff is really kicking ass. I am curious to know if I'm kicking ass or not, It would be incredibly motivating.
