ok guys i have 5 plants that I think are growing well. The only problem i notice is some browning on the tips of the leaves which i think is heat stress so i moved the light further away.

heres pics and please comment and offer suggestions.

water every 3 days
MGRO moisture control
CFL's 6 tube lights and 5 bulb CFLs
ph 6.5
Nutes should be good, the MGRO has a lot

your plants look healthy, how old are they?

i dont think MG moisture control has any nutes or ferts, its just spongier to retain water, i think

rather than watering every 3 days, you should do the finger test and water when the soil is completely dry (2-3 days anyways but...)

you are right MGRo only has minimal nutes....so how often would you be feeding if you were me?

once a week or feed water water feed, at 1/4 strength then build your way up to a full dose.

which plant did you think had the magnesium def? is it that pale-er looking one, would you want to throw up a pic of it from today? when you take the pic put your hand under the leaf that looks like its goten the worst of the deficiency and take the picture nice and close

no i think its just the lighting in that picture. i was talking about the picture against the blue cup, you can see the edges and tip yellowing

i think evrything is fine. you have been reading a wealth of information lately, im guessing, and have heard of all sorts of plant problem. now i think your looking to find a problem erly that dosnt exist yet. minor drying like this can happen and be dif from day to day. id say keep things the way they are, you are not doing anything wrong other than overthinking

dont you think switching the soil would be a huge stress to the plant, they look good to me

if you would like to keep the same soil throughout the whole grow and not add your own nutes go for it,
if you decide to keep the soil and go ahead and add your own nutrients you will run into problems

im lookin at the pics again and think that the first 3 pictures are plants in regular MG poting soil and the last one is moisture control. i can see atleast 1 nute ball in each of the first 2 pics ant in the 3rd the soil dosnt look the same as the 4th, which def looks like MG moisture control
