got her as a clone from a buddy

transplanted into 2qt container

using miracle gro plant food the blue stuff you mix with water
also no PH meter till next gro she got a little burned up

flushed her and she came right back

NEXT problem was heat i have 2 pc fans one for exhaust and one for intake
im just realizing that you need to have exhaust moving faster then intake
my cab was above 90degrees for 2 weeks and stunted plant growth

NEW SETUP HAS TEMPS UNDER CONTROL
FAN PULLING HEAT TO EXHAUST NOW

appreciate it...i think i have... it was a combo of heat stress and nute burn.. shes happy now and i also found my ph meter today lol

Looking like a great veg start. How long you plan on vegging and flowering? Also what kind of wattage you running now, and then for flowering? What strain is it? How old is it from clone to now? What kind of medium and nutes you running with it?

Besides the fact that I personaly are interested in these questions, I'm sure a dozen others will ask and you can easily refer them to the first page of the thread. Haha :-P

Also on a personal note, how did you make your oder control out of the coffee can. Thats the one thing I have left for my cab that I have to resolve, besides buying a damn $80 carbon filter.

i have no idea how long i have been vegging i would say around 2 months from clone to now. I am switching to 12/12 this friday. I started with 8 23w cfl in the custom fixture but due to heat i only run 4 of them. I had heat problems and never though to unscrew the bulbs...shes growing faster now that the temps have been optimized. she is supposed to be northern lights clone. Im using scotts topsoil i got a bag at walmart for 2bucks and miracle gro plant food. I spent a majority of the money on the build because i need it super stealthy. i rent the upstairs of a house and the people downstairs cant know im growing even though they know i smoke bud.

i wanted to flower with HPS but due to money and space and heat issues gonna have to flower with CFL's just gonna keep them as close as possible

folgers coffee can = free
mini desk fan from walmart = 5.00
odor remover from dollar store = 2.00

i put the odor remover in the coffee can with about a cup of water. The lid of the can is cut so the fan sits on top and blows the air out. Its pretty simple and keeps my room smelling fresh.

I didnt have much of a marijuana odor except it smelled like plants in my room...hopefully this will work through veg. I have read that it should...

Updates..my space is limited so i had to tie her back down. the 4-5 days ive had her untied shes grown alot!

Also installed my home made carbon filter..been meaning to install this for awhile just finally got the parts i needed to attach it.

Took 2 clones and have them in humidity dome...will check back tomorrow see how everything is going..

Putting her in 12/12 Today.

yesterday i checked the clones one looked like it was in shock..really droopy. I misted the humidity dome and the plant with water and today she looks good

hey guys i just wanted to put in my 2 cents on the air scrubber, i think it is worth the money to buy a real carbon filter because would you wanna get screwed over something you got at the dollar store? a home-made one may work for the veg stage but once they start to flower they smell a lot more and need a carbon filter to remove the smell

so whats your advice when im using a PC fan as exhaust dont have 2 many options and a 4'' inline would be 2 loud killing the stealth operation.
