Hey guys, this is my first grow and first time posting on here. I've been reading and trying to learn as much as I can on here and recently started my first grow about 3 weeks ago. Below is some basic info about my setup:
48x48x80 Tent, MarsHydro II 1600 780w LED Panel, iPower 6" carbon filter, and a few fans for circulation. Temps stay between 72-78 at all times. Feeding is done with FoxFarm's Grow Big & Big Bloom as well as General Hydroponics CaliMagic. I still need to get something to monitor the humidity but I do live in SoCal and am growing in the garage so the humidity isn't too much of a concern. I don't have an RODI system, but I'm doing something a little different. I have a 120 gallon cichlid aquarium thats been running for years which I dechlorinate, balance PH and heavily oxygenate and this is what I've been using to feed my plants, I just siphon out how much I need and add my nutes. My questions are as follows:
1. In picture #2, that purpling on those leaves, is there anything I should be dosing them extra to take care of that or does it look normal? The plant itself is looking healthy and has perked up since I brought it home - Skyline OG Clone in Ocean Forest Soil
2. In picture #3, on the one leaf, just wondering if that should go away or if again I should be adding something different to my feeding. This one I planted from an unknown seed a friend had gotten from a dispensary and is planted in MiracleGro Premium Organic soil.
3. In picture #1 & 5, this plant also came from an unknown seed. I FIM'd this plant last week and its recovering great. I'm seeing alot of potential growth though underneath being blocked by these 4 huge fan leaves, just wondering if it would be safe to clip these or if they should be left alone. I really don't want to clip too much not knowing exactly what I'm doing and end up slowing my growth down.
My goal is to flip these hopefully on Christmas Day, my time is kind of limited due to personal reasons so I will have to rush just a little at the end but I'm also researching still how to properly handle this without too much loss in yield/quality. I'm looking at about 13 weeks total time from seed to harvest that I needed to meet. The 3 smaller ones I planted at the exact same time on 11/20 and they're all growing at completely different rates. I bought the other 3 clones just to fill in my area a little. I've been feeding with nutes every 3-4 days as the soil drys and foliar spraying with plain water twice daily. The training method I've chosen will be LST, I don't plan on topping any of the other plants and just tying them all down instead.
Any advice or suggestions you can guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. I plan on growing for a long time to come but this will be my first and last grow until I can get my own place in a few more months. Just trying to maximize my yields with the time I do have.
Sorry about original pics, don't know why they came out so purple. Hopefully you can see a bit better with these new ones.
