Hi ,
I have a blue cheese auto from Royal queen seeds inside a grow tend 60x60x140 using a 150w hps lamb with 2 fans one as input and one as exhaust . I am at the end of week 4 tomorrow starting the 5th week. I want to ask the more experienced growers how the plant does it look for this time because i made a few mistakes at the start . ANd also i have a problem with watering, i use 6 liter container , i water till the water comes out of the bottom aprox 1 liter but it takes about a week the soil to dry so i water once a week (shall i give it less water ?). In start of the week 4 i used Atami A nutrient 0.4 per liter for the first time (N-K 3-3). I think i will go with 0.6 to the second water what do u think about it?

Looks happy and healthy to me. And its normal to really not have to water that often at this stage. You will see in next few weeks that the plant will use up a lot more water then it is now

Thanks for the information since its my very first try every single peace of knowledge is gold to me <3

How high above your plant do you have your light? You wanna keep it as close as you can without damaging plant. It will help with closer node spacing

You are looking fine. I always advise new growers to pop a bunch of bag seeds to get started. That way if you kill a few, it is no big deal. You will learn as you grow. Taking the economics out of it is a big stress reducer. Good luck.

I worry that is a little behind for her age since she is auto , as i have seen on other journals ... . How do you see it ?

It's not the length of the light period, it's the intensity. You need brighter light and move the light closer. Also for the beginning of the life the "vegging" cycle you want metal halide not hps, hps is for flowering. Plants get taller and spindly like that under hps. Get some 6000k fluorescents and put with the hps for vegging, and put them really close.

Also, what kind of soil are you using?

Watering once a week is a long stretch to go without water, if the soil is staying moist that whole time it doesn't have good drainage.

Yea you are write for the light, but i had this one and just put the seed to soil for the first time .... i will buy a blue spectrum cfl for my next one..
It doesn't absorb much water probably because i water with ph with 7.5 .... i guess this is a fatal mistake too as it seems ... the soil description in the pic bellow

No Auto experience but at day 28 it should be at the point of transitioning into flower now. It sucks but instead of wasting the next 40 or 50 days for it to finish you may want to grab a pot of coffee and binge read and start from scratch. Keep this one going as your experiment?

get that string off it will cut the stem, why is it tied up at the fan leaves anyway?
I removed them it was an experiment :D , Also yes i think i will keep this one till the January to see how it goes , and with the new year armed with the knowledge i will try it again :D

My baby looks like that know since the last time i Update the thread , It has grow a lot , my question is do u believe that in about a month will it be ready for crop ? ( aprox. at 15 of December i am thinking of taking it down ).
