First Grow, Platinum Bubba Kush Clones, 3x3 SCROG

This is my first grow, got 4 Platinum Bubba Kush Clones from the dispensary. Heres what I have:

3x3x6 Apollo Tent
2 x Vipar 300w LEDs
4 x 2 gallon Smart pots
192 CFPM exaughst with fan speed controller set about half way

I got these from the dispensary on 10/8, they were put in soil on 9/20. I topped them after having them for about a week. All is looking good right now. Just set the SCROG net last night at 12 inches from the soil. On a 18/6 veg cycle right now. Temps stay at about 77 degrees, RH goes between 40 amd 50. Using FFOF soil and Nutrient Trio. I fugure i will veg them until the SCROG is about 70% full and then flip them. Any and all advice is welcome!

Everything still moving right along. I'm thinking I may be flipping to flower sometime next week. Did some pruning this morning. Haven't taken all the lower foliage off, still holding out hope that a couple of the lower branches will reach the top. I'll give them a few more days and then I'm going to give these plants a full lollipop. Considering adding one more 300w LED for flower, but not sure if that would just be overkill in this small tent.

Flipping to flower today. Gave them a good lollipop yesterday. All under foliage is cleaned up. Screen is filling in nicely. Hopefully I'll be chopping by New Years!

Day 1 of flower. Everything is looking great, screen is filling out good. Humidity is a little high, up around 60%. Might need to invest in a dehumidifier.

Day 5 of flower, pretty much in cruise control. Going to start feeding tiger bloom tomorrow. Still tucking trying to keep an even canopy. No deficiencies, everything looking healthy!

Week 2 of flower:
Added two more Vipar 300w lights to the tent today. Total is 4 lights now 1200w, actual draw is probably about 560w. Very confident that I have the whole cannopy covered with enough light for flower now. Looks like some buds are starting to form. Seems like the stretching might be slowing down as well.

Started noticing a lot of powdery mildew yesterday. Pruned off a lot of fan leaves with mildew today and yesterday. Ordered another small fan to move the air around and some mildew cure to foliar spray. Most of the mildew was on undergrowth that was going to be pruned anyways but had to pluck a couple leaves from the top of the cannopy too. Hopefully I can get this under control before it starts affecting the buds that are coming in. Other than that everything is looking great. Buds are coming in nicely. I've decided to stop tucking because the stretch seems to have stopped for the most part. Cannopy is pretty even other than a couple tops that are a few inches higher, but kind of trapped with nowhere to tuck them.

Week 3 of flower starts today! Everything is looking pretty good. My mildew cure still hasn't been delivered, so on Friday I mixed up some baking soda in water and hosed most of the leafs down. I think this definitley helped, but I still see a little bit in small spots. Also now my leafs have ugly water spots. Anyways, buds are growing, stretch seems to be done, pretty much on auto pilot and just fighting the PM.

Did some major defoliation this morning, trying to get rid of this PM. It's looking a lot better as far as airflow goes. Got some mildew cure in the mail today, will probably wait till Saturday to apply since I want to do it right before lights out and light go out while I'm at work. Everything is looking good otherwise. Buds still forming nicely!

Well it doesn't look like all my pruining really helped at all, the PM is still thriving. I am planning on going home tonight and just hosing them down with this safergro mildew cure. I got this idea from a YouTube video. The guy said spray with Mildew Cure to kill the mildew and then spray with silica to prevent it from returning. I'm about out of options at this point so I'm going to spray and pray. Hopefully this takes care of it. Even if I have to keep spraying I don't care as long as they make it to harvest. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. sucks that I got PM on my first grow but it is what it is.

Well sprayed everything down last night with Safergro Mildew Cure. Man this stuff stinks! Very strong garlic smell. This morning I woke up and popped the tent and to my surprise and delight not only was the garlic smell gone but so was all of the PM!! I know I'm not out of the woods yet, but this is definitely encouraging! I am going to spray Bottanicare Silica Blast on Friday. Supposedly that will keep the PM from coming back for over a month. So fingers crossed, we're looking good! Took a couple lights out pics, today. Enjoy!

Hey, just jumped over to check your grow out. They look pretty happy in the latest pics. Have you tried running the fan at full speed for a while to see if it helps with the humidity? If it brings it down, a 6" setup would probably be a good upgrade for you.

Yeah I have it running at full speed now. I think your right I do need to upgrade to 6", 440 CFM fan, just not sure if the wife will let me spend the $150 right now lol. Hoping that I can make it through harvest with my current setup. I might break down and but the new fan though, who knows. Thanks for stopping by!

Week 4 starts today! Feels good to be halfway down with flower! Everything is looking perfect this morning! Buds are getting bigger. PM is GONE!! For now. I have a feeling it will return but I'll just have to keep fighting it. Here's some week 4 shots and some nug porn for everyone!
