[First grow] plant stressed, can't pinpoint reason

I've had these autoflowers for a couple months now (starting to flower) but I've noticed some stress that looks like it can be due to heat, even though I moved my CFLs higher and have a fan blowing on them during lights on.

I'm using 2x2 tent for 2 small plants, 6x42w cfls. Peat moss and compost medium.

I've encountered some problems with thrips lately and have bought an insectosidal soap spray (they didn't have spinosad unfortunately) but they seem to have died out for the most part. I still mist them almost daily a bit to keep the thrips from making a return.

Initially I thought the plants might be suffering from underwatering as they were drooping and their soil was dry in the top 2 inches, but they didn't recover.

In picture is the one who had the symptoms first, the pictures are 1 day apart.

If anyone has suggestions towards how I can save this plant I would appreciate to hear them.

Thanks

When a plant looks bad from head to toe and you are doing frequent spraying of a product, you gotta stop using that product and rinse your plant off.

Many insect sprays can fry a plant with applications at the wrong time of day or over application. Especially oil based applications. I don't know how bad over applications of trithanolamine effects mj, but I suspect rather badly.

If your plant is over fed it will make them even more sensitive to burning from insect sprays.

Thanks for the reply, I washed them both with just water and have been misting them regularly and they seem to be coming back from it. I guess it probably was the soap. I'll be a bit more cautious next time I spray them with something that kills things, I just panicked when I saw how many thrips I could see all over my plants.
