First Grow. Plant Problem. PLEASE HELP!

So I thought about two weeks ago that I over-nueted my plants, or they were heat stressed because the leaves were curling under at the tips and I saw some yellowing on some lower leaves. I leached the soil of all the plants to make sure I got all the nuets out and since I have not gave them anymore. I checked all my temp and humidity gages and everything is good as always. The leaves havent went back to normal. Will they? I am not even sure if they are suppose to but I assume so. I have read my grow bible over and over and keep thinking what it could be, today it hit me. My plants are in half gallon, to a gallon pots right now. And are over a foot tall. Do you think it could be that they are in to small of pots? and can't expand and it may have caused some of the plants leaves to curl under? Not all the plants have this, only half or so. Other plants are fine and have all grown fine. Just recently I noticed my new clones are growing at a much higher rate then the ones that have been vegging for a while (1 month 2 1/2 weeks). Do you think I should transplant now? Is that the problem? INPUT WILL BE THANKFUL. ANYTHING!

Here is the link to my prior post w/ pictures of the plants and what some of the leaves looked like - https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/105568-hid-light-burn-over-nuet.html

symptoms << Have you looked around here? Those lower leaves usually die off anyway, so don't despair.
You should see roots trying to escape out the bottom of your planters if they're rootbound and need more room.

they should go back to normal
i seen sumthin like dis in person with one of my bois yo

his plant came out fine, could be the pot yo

now i don't kno much about transferin plants
but i do NEED to kno myself (weather)

but I don't see also why it would be a bad idea to transferin them yo

Ya I don't know. I thought they would go back to normal to. They haven't thats why I think they might need bigger pots. How big do you guys use? I am about to transfer them to 12/12 this week and flower. I definatly need bigger pots for that right?

I end up in 1-2 gallon pots for 18"-24" plants. MANY go bigger than I do, but I think too much space for roots means retarded visible veg/flower growth. One way I check is by how often I have to water. If it gets to be too often, like every other day, then the pot isn't big enough could be one reason.
Transplanting/bigger pot is not a requirement for 12/12 or flowering and won't generally mean much bigger harvests.

Well I transplanted them into five gallon pots. I guess I will see what they do and how they react. Hopefully the leaves get better and dont curl although mainly all the new growth that the plant generates is fine. So that is what made me think the leaves may not go back to normal, but everyone else says differently. Even with some of the leaves curling under is it still safe to flower? If not, what would happen if I did?
