First grow pics

This is my first grow. I germed a bag seed along with a feminized AK48 from Nirvana, and only the bag seed grew. Obviously I'm hoping it is a female, and looking for another seed to plant in the meantime just in case. This plant is about 3 weeks old. Other than the leaves looking a little droopy it looks pretty healthy to me, and is sprouting new leaves all over.

Regarding the droopy leaves, I'm trying to figure out if I'm over/under watering, or if the soil ph is wrong or what. I'm going to switch to using distilled water and watch the plant closely to see if I can understand what it is trying to tell me with its leaves.

I am not using any nutes yet, soil is FFOF.

You can get that thing like 2-3 inches away from the lights. Those are pretty small CFLS and they are going what looks like over a foot. IMO get em closer to the lights and see if it helps

Alrighty man, first grows are always the most fun in my opinion but I have some questions and we can see if we can figure this out. Are you putting any nutrient complex in the plant? Have you been testing the Ph of your water? How much water have you been giving the plant? Is your soil packed down or did you just fill it to the top? Answers will decide :)

Well, I had some seedlings die before and I think it was bc they got dried out or overheated, hence the distance from the lights. I'm no expert (obviously), but wouldn't it be stretching if it needed more light? It is so bushy and low. Also, that's about 6000 lumens between the 6 bulbs in the cabinet.

More info:

No nutes yet. I have a bottle of FF grow nutes waiting for when I'm ready.
Tap water is PH tested using a dropper kit. It is 6-7, I can't remember exactly right now, but I adjusted it using PH up/down drops until it was within the recommended range.
I water about every 3 days. At first it was only a tablespoon or so around the seedling, now it's more like 5 or so.
Temps in the cabinet stay around 80-85; airflow is good
lights are on 24 hrs. The room gets pretty cold at night (low 60s), so I am hesitant to turn them off.
FF Ocean Forest soil was poured on top of a handful of rocks to assist drainage. It is not what I would calll "packed down."

thanks for the replies!

Hmm interesting, reason I kind of don't like bag seed because you do not know what you are getting or growing. 6-7 Ph in my mind is kind of high personally I go a little lower like 5.3-6 for starting the grow. I don't know bout 24hrs a day maybe 18 or so just seems likes it is getting over watered or too much heat and maybe needs a little rest. Just my opinion, lets see if someone agrees :). Keep us updated!

I poked a finger down in the soil when I got home, and it seems pretty dry. I'm going to give it another 24 hrs or so, then I think it's about time to write off the overwatering theory. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder- is UNDER watering a possibility?

I also decided to wean the plant off the 24 hr light cycle to an 18/6 schedule. Hopefully the rest will do it some good.

Notably, it's also blowing up with new leaves, so something must be going right. See the photo.
