So alrighty guys, I've finally got my first grow room set-up thanks to everyone on the forum, and I'd love to get some of your feedback on my starting mother(hopefully) plant. Been growing pretty good using my well-water, However I just gave it its first batch of nutrients yesterday in distilled water bringing my ppms up to about 300.. (My tap water runs about 225ppms)

Right now I'm currently running a 1000w Mh.
In a DWC bucket system and am running the GH flora series nutes with a PH at about 5.8 Here are some pics I took. (Saw some brown spots and was alittle concerned? What does everyone think? IMG_1021[1].jpgIMG_1022[1].jpg sorry for the horrible image quality :(

Could be a little nute burn, I know generic response but it's hard to tell with those pics. That's a ton of light though and overkill for sure... Not necessarily a bad thing, but a waste of power. How far away is the light?

I think you may have started your nutes too soon, we wait two weeks then only use 1/4 strength

Sorry buddy but they don't look healthy at all, too much heat or nutes or both
If using distilled water, you may require a Cal-Mag supplement

Lights about 3 feet from the plants, maybe 3 and a half, and my res is about an inch below the netpots, Should I go back to using my tapwater or give it a shot with the nutrients? as far as the light goes, I'm mostly using it for heat, I can only grow in my basement and it gets real cold down there in the winter, and the MH light keeps my tent real warm. Sorry for the bad pics again also.

Plants been goin about two weeks now, But JUST put in the nutrients last night, So I feel whatever has happened could be reversed. Hopefully. Opinions or suggestions? Also, when you say 1/4 strength, are you referring to 1/4 strength of the seedling stage? (which would change my 300ppms to 75ppms)?

1/4 strength nutes, use only 25% of the recommended dosage
Dr. Jekyll

Distilled water has zero minerals, so your tap water may be not much better if it's soft, but if it's hard or well-water it may have enough.
We have no choice but to use Cal-Mag as our water is very soft
Mr. Hyde

i wouldnt give her any more nutes for a little while just keep and eye on your ph and maybe and a little cal-mag like mr hyde's advise, dont worry tho it will come around and they will be just fine be patient and grow on
