G’day everyone quick introduction going to be posting a grow journal of my first ever indoor grow. Yep first ever! Yeeew! So I’m ready for the Criticism as long as it’s constructive criticism Cos all in all that’s why I’m here. I’m here to learn, I’m open to people’s personal preference from previous personal experiences you have encountered. I want to know the know when it comes to the process cultivating.
    IM ALL EARS!
    Much appreciated.

All plants are looking nice and healthy apart one.

It just happens to be the biggest of the four I’m thinking it might be a calmag deficiency, so I just ordered a bottle of CALiMAGic. Now to wait and see if that cures my girls problem.

    Other two plants;

Whole time I’ve been watering with plain water and canna rhyzotonic.

    10/6/18
Added a 400w hps to grow due to night time temps dropping below 10degrees Celsius.
Also just dabbling with the 2 different light sources at the same time to see if they like the mixed light source.

Foliar feeding 1-4 times a day with
    -1ml Canna Bio Vega
    -1ml Canna Rhyzotonic
    -1ml GH CALiMAGic
    -1ltr water

    12/6/19
Watered plants before changing light schedule
    -3litres plain water
    -2ml Bio Canna Vega
    -3ml GH CALiMAGic
    -2ml Canna Rhyzotonic

Changed light schedules from 24-0 to 18-6
Hope to see some improvements from the “guessing” calmag defficiency I guess I’ll wait and see.
Other two seem to be okay tighter node spacing than the bigger one with problems
I think the canna bio line is punching a bit under its belt with lack of nitrogen I’m not a professional and it is my first indoor grow, period!
From what I gather during veg you want a nice dark green colour, regrowth is coming through abit light but other than that I’m pleased for first time grow.

You don't need any of this feeding for babies. The canna terra sounds like good soil and would have plenty of nutes if not too much for first month at least. This has got to be over fertilizing. Good job adding perlite.

You mentioned it had been cold. Too cold can really hurt them when there little. Hopefully that's under control now.

oh. what the heck is 10 celcius. Ok 50. Yes, too cold for seedlings. 21 is ok, and ideally about 25 or 26 give or take. Maybe you're a week or 2 past seedling. At this point the low of 20 being at night and high of 26 in day would be about perfect, give or take a degree.

Sweet! that’s what I was aiming for by having lights off during the day and on at night because the hps does warm it up in there quite abit. the tents in a shed, so with the sun on the shed it does get quite warm in there... so hopefully that’s enough or at least close to the bench mark.

Will post some progress shots soon. After being topped two days ago and some slight LST.
Pretty much pinned the main stems to the soil. It’s only early days so not much to play with. Just thought I’d get in early to save the mess around trying to lst a strong main stem. I know I will still have to through the whole process but you probably catch my drift. Dependending on the growth rate I’m planning on doing a Scrog?? Any suggestions

Progress shots tomorrow morning. Been out of town a few days so I’m very eager to see if they’ve had any explosive growth over the away duration. “Trying not to get my hopes up” :peace:

A lot of people don’t recommend it but then the same amount do it
It’s personal choice if you think the plant is growing fast enough and think it will recover quick enough to get back into it go for it... I’ve topped with this same strain but outdoor and they were awesome..

Yeah Raggyb going to put a scrog together today got some timber from work for the frame. going to make a string line grid... now what size should I make the squares? Roughly 2 inches wide ???

And the height of my lights are about 18 inches away from tops, I was thinking about moving them closer but not to sure.

I'm thinking 4" wide is better. Sometimes I poked them back down and move them over another square and so you want it a little wider. Light distance depends on the light, and I don't have leds so I'm not sure.

Rightio, just made my scrog screen I was going to go 5” but I buggered up and went 2”... before I realised o was to far along to change ah well. I did a bit of research and some peeps recommend 1” so hopefully it’s not a hassle

All I used was four bits of timber. I measured to suit inside my grow space and mitre cut the ends. Put a screw every 2” increment around the frame and just went crazy with a string line DA1C4624-CA50-418E-83A7-C1B7D7089BB5.jpeg
