Description:

Lowryder #2 has been infused with superior Santa Maria genetics, a variety known for copious resin production, exotic taste and soaring highs, it is an indica / sativa hybrid originally from Brazil. The cross was subsequently selectively inbred for three generations. The result is an auto-flowering dwarf that yields a wonderfully strong, head-turning smoke with intoxicating taste. The strength and flavour is backed by copious resin production and much-improved yield and stability. Buds are larger, tighter and more aromatic than the original Lowryder. As with Original Lowryder, no separate room or light cycle is needed to flower. Lowryder cannbis seeds performs very well in soil mix (pots or beds) or in soil-less systems, where it can be cultivated from seed to bud in two months – 18 hours of light per day is recommended all the way through. Switching light cycles down to 12 hours may diminish yields and shorten the already-short life cycle slightly. Because Lowryder's life cycle is so brief, cloning becomes impracticable, so only plants from seed are grown.

Environment: Indoors, in a 4-sided box (floor, sides, back.). The front is open to allow airflow. The back also has a hole in it.
Light: 225 lamp 100 watt LED Grow Light 3/2 Blue/Red. The correct spectrums were used, I checked it but I'm not going to go look it up again

Reflection: Aluminum foil on all sides
Timer: 18 hours
Air movement: Single PC fan with a speed knob.
Sprouting Method: Moist paper towel in a plastic bag. At first signs of rooting, placed root down into Jiffy 7 pellets.
Soil: Miracle Grow Moisture Control with added 12-6-6 fertilizer.
Water: Tap water when dry. Leaves misted 1-2 times a day.

This baby first popped up out of the ground on 6/7/2010, making her 10 days old as of this post. She is truly beautiful, and is my pride and joy. She currently has two pairs of her true leaves and I can not wait to see how quickly she grows up. She currently has no name, but if you have a suggestion, let me know!

You can now see her 3rd pair of true leaves coming in. They are tiny and precious ^_^ Her 2nd pair still looks like it is unfurling, I'll be watching for any signs of trouble on this.

hey there, my little ones are about the same age so your post caught my eye. first time grower using cfl and miracle grow.

Well welcome then! Stick around and see what happens. Her third pair of true leaves is getting a little bigger, about the size of grains of rice. You can see the leaf that hasn't completely unfurled in this picture.

i experimented with those little peat pots that you have in your picture........the roots became bound up after a week and stopped growing then died. the plants that i put into solo cups are doing awesome. i like the led lights....lookin good
