I run 24/0 for a couple weeks & then switch to 18/6 for the duration of Veg - 12/12 after that. What type/size lighting are you using?

I use 24 hr light throughout veg. I have never understood what good six hrs od darkness would be.
I've heard of people using both 24/0 and 18/6 - it would be fun to run a side-by-side with clones to see which schedule the plants liked better.

the reason why is that the plants stretch in the dark (6hrs).
so going 24/0 for 2 weeks will grow your plant small and very bushy with lots of tight nodes.
then when you switch to 18/6 they start to stretch upwards as the plants are looking for the light that is not there during the 6hrs of darkness.
its an exellent way for rapid growth.
i have done 18/6 from start before(when in veg untill switching to 12/12) and 24/0 from start untill the end of vegg then going 12/12 and nothing compares to 2 weeks of 24/0 and 18/6 untill the end of vegg before going 12/12.
give it a try and you will see a big difference in plant growth.
