First grow - LED Glow Panel 45

Hey there! So I started this mid Feb from seed and under CFL's just on my computer desk, and have since turned an old broom closet into my grow space!
One LED Glow Panel 45 seems to be doing the trick! Although its in the basement, the closet backs the furnace room, so there is ample warm air!

Let me know what you think! Any advice is welcome!
Cheers!

I don't have a lot of experience, but she looks nice and bushy, internodes packed together. Is this panel rated 45watt? If so, pretty impressive so far. Are you growing on soil?
Peace
Jaya!

I am using a sunshine 45 too and love it. Id be shocked if the actual draw was more than 20w, Its an impressive panel for what it is.

here is the 45 puts out very little heat so you can get it very close.

I have some other units going right now too.

the smaller plant was topped on 4/9 ub style.

I'm pretty sure I stunted her growth early. I had a single 60W CFL about 3 inches away early on, and it almost stopped growing after 2 weeks. So I popped this over top of her, and she seems to be doing fine! Not straight soil either, using Pro Mix. And for Nutes I'm using Advanced Grow, Micro and Bloom

Sorry, I forgot to mention, because I think I had stunted growth too early, I'm trying to keep the panel far enough away to stretch her out a bit.

I have a Glowpanel 45 I used it for veg. LST is the way to go. You should add CFLs when you flower. Good luck.

Supposedly those 45 watt panels work OK for early veg, but not so much when the plants get big, and not for flowering.
So long as you supplement with more light later, you should be fine.

You will not be able to yield anything with that panel as your lighting. I have one of those and have tried to use it for an entire grow. It's okay for veg in like a max 2'x2' space but the panel does almost nothing in flower. The panel is advertised as 45W, the makers claim they were able to reduce the wattage to like 28W and still get the same lighting, but if you hooked up the light to a killawat or something similar it will show that they only draw 8-10 watts.
