first grow, leaves deformed

im new to this so im kind of confused. the ph is at 6.2, and the ppm is at 750 (not sure yet exactly how to use ppm?), and my nutes are at 1/2 strength as the plants are only three weeks old.

my question si that the leaves look deformed and are curling under, then another plant has the leaves almost curling up in a v shape.

can someone tell me what sort of deficiency am i looking at?

This isn't necessarily a deficiency. Deformed leaves are often strain dependent and a genetic issue. As to the leaf curl up or down I have seen this caused by water issues and lighting issues. Do you have pics?

How often are you feeding?

IME twisting leaves and praying leaves are usually a sign of magnesium deficiency.

However it could also be on over watering problem.

What type of hydro system are you using.

Flood and drain?
Drip?
NFT?

Also your pH is a little high.

I tend to set mine at 5.8 and only adjust if it goes too close to 5.2 or 6.2.

ill take some pics tonight.

Im using a DWC with a rubbermaid and 4 inch net pots. the plants were started in rockwool and are now covered in lava rocks. the bottom inch of the net pot was sitting in the water, which woud explain the over watering issue? if the roots are hanging out into the water then does the water need to reach teh bottom of the net pot? im changing the water every 10 days, and i feed when i change the water. should i be feeding more? like i said im using the nutrients at half recommended strength. ive adjusted my ph back down to 5.8.

how can i rectify a magnesium deficiency?

im growing in a darkroom 60, 4 plants, 150w hps. the temp stays around 85, and the humidity is 42%.
