First grow, is it ready?

Most of the trichomes have turned milky with one amber trichome that I saw on the 9lb hammer, so I think 2 weeks max to go before I harvest.. I’ll try to take close up pics through the microscope so you guys can see the trichomes

Just be sure your checking the buds themselves and not the leaves around it. Those on the the leaves will turn well before the buds.

After 5-6 days of drying I tried a sample bowl of the Venus fly trap and wow turned out better than I thought.. but I have a question.. my 9lb hammer hasn’t grown in over a week and the buds trichomes all look milky, should I harvest the 9lb hammer? @Cold$moke @Lordhooha
I’m pretty sure my plants have been flushed as the smokes ash turned white, and the smoke was pretty clean for 6 day dry without curing.. anyways would like to hear what you guys think.. I’ll get a pic of the 9lb hammer up ASAP

When in doubt give it another week lol
Its all preference bud.

For instance if you like a more racy head high pull it now

If you want more couch locky body high let it go 30% amber :)


Its all up to you and your preferences..the main thing is not garvesting so early as to compromise the yeild..

You could cut half now and let the plant go for 2 a few more weeks just so you can sample the difference:)

People talk a lot about triches and if I were you i would pay more attention to the calyxes. Ive had triches change for a handful of reasons besides being finished. Once the majority of the calyxes are swollen and the bud is "hard" to a squeeze you know your about done. It might take a few harvests but I dont even check trichomes anymore just give the buds a little squeeze.

congrats on getting a harvest but if you're ever flowering indoor again I would recommend getting some more light.

Well it seems as if @Cold$moke and the others already told ya pretty the exact same things I was...haha. So I will take the time and pat ya on the back for getting your first grow under yer belt.:clap::clap::clap: I have been doin this for about 25 years and it is still a great feelin when ya grow em up, chop, trim, dry, cure, and smoke the flowers that YOU grew. Thanks for puttin up your pics and questions. The only unanswered questions are the ones that are not asked.:bigjoint:

A week wont hurt it especially if you just plain water it .....get some more fade going.

Good job , now do it all over again ;)

looks like decent bud...could you elaborate a little on what "wasted light" is?
I just ran a plant that wasn`t exactly under the hood (1000w) and aren`t to happy...yours look good though...congrats

What i mean is its literally wasted light haha

Its the light thats on the walls above my canopy

I opened my 9lb hammer to check on the buds and I think there was a little mold in he biggest nug :(.. anyways do you think the rest of the buds are bad, I have been inspecting each bud and I think it’s only on the big bud
