This is my first grow indoors and i have no idea really what im doing. i germinated two seeds using paper towel method. Now two weeks later i have 1 plant from those two seeds and 1 that i started about a week ago. i have them under six cfls 4 are 2150 lumens and the other 2 are 2700. For my soil i used about 50% peat moss , 35% pearlite, and 15% miracle grow soil. i am manual watering and feeding. The first two seedling from a week ago got burnt cause my lites fell on them. one of them died but i think the other might pull through (hopefully). Any advice and tips would help alot thx. Here are some pics of my setup

For some reason a lot of people say that. 3 inches is definitely close enough for a seedling. You want to find the perfect distance where there isn't too much stretching, but your plants aren't being bombarded and eventually dry and crisp up. I had a cfl an inch away from one of my plants and it burnt the shit out of a tip. Makes me mad every time I see the burnt tip now.

ok i changed my planter instead of a drawer i got a rubbermaid container. i also got water in the bottom to raise the humidity but it is not helping all that much. here are some pics any advice on why they are so droopy would help alot thx

i like the homemade drip sys, good work man. one thing i noticed in the first pic tho, you probably know this already, but its a good idea to put your reservoir below the drip nozzels and the pump to avoid flooding out your shit. i had some bad experiances with an identical setup a few years back, i had to learn the hard way lol

i like that idea of cutting the holes in a reflectorand sticking the lcfl through it. you just solved a big problem for me bro. big ups
