This is my first grow, i started with 5 and ended up with these two because of space restrictions. The first pictures are at 2 weeks the day after transplanting. The second pictures are current at just about 4 weeks. cfl, lst, fox farm products. random bagseed and i believe 2 different strands. any input is welcome. thanks for looking :weed:

Sweet looking plants, man. They appear to be healthy. Good Job man. I'm a first time grower myself.

If you are tight on space I suggest you start flowering soon. Im on my first grow too and in my third week of flowering. They take off in growth once you switch to 12/12. Your plants look great. Keep up the good work and keep the picks coming

Thanks for the compliments! I still have a lot of verticle space so i was planning on flowering in another 3 or 4 weeks depending on how much they grow, sooner if they go through a few growth spurts. I would like to trim a little but i'm not sure what, when, and how, the babies are getting really bushy.

Looking very nice! I can't wait till these seeds pop so I can see some green:D What's your light set up like? Looks to me like 5 or 6 23w CFLs. Thanks!

compliments from experienced growers is better;-)

your plants look nice for first time with cfl. although they may have too much nitro. or may have too much water. either way, i would wait until your pots are "very" light until next water. dont water when the first 1 or 2 inches are dry.

good luck, and either way, im sure it wont hurt your harvest, just make sure you cut down on nitrogen before you start to flower! :bigjoint:

Right now i'm using 6 26 watt cfls, 4 daylight and 2 soft white, when i go to flower i will add 3 more lights so i will have 6 26watt soft and 3 26watt daylight. I have a moisture meter to check the soil. with this picture i had just watered them after drying for 3 days, my nutes are at 1/2 strength right now and they have been responding well. I had a ph problem in week 3 and the only reason is because i forgot my meter is cal. at 7.1 instead of 7.0. Here are the plants today. I'm letting them rest from the lst for about half a day and in the morning i will re-pin them.

you should wait at least a week before watering.. probably more with those.

If i stick the meter in and it doesn't register, to me that means to water. Sometimes its a couple of days, and week 3 i watered on monday and then saturday. should i always wait a week to water?

i would wait until the pot gets really light. just lift it, you should be able to tell if the soil is dry

Screw the meters man, I learned along time ago its better to just lift the pot and feel the difference when they get to big to really lift, just watch what the plant does and get a feel for it.. I have had much more success when I ditched meters and scheduled watering... Looking good by the way check out my CFL grow in my sig.

Hey man, your plants looking nice and bushy! Good Job ! Just a question though, how big is the space you are growing in? From what I can calculate you have 234watts, and from what i've read you want at least 50watts per square foot, and around 4000lumens/square ft
good luck with them ladies dude !!
