Ok, so I've taken some advice that I received from some of you, so I figured I'd share what/how I'm doing this.

Attached are two pics of my grow area (seeds aren't yet germinated).

Any ideas, thoughts or criticisms are welcome!

sexy lil setup. paint the walls white. once the plants start gettin a lil bigger youll need more lights. oh and you should lower the light a lil or the seedlings might stretch. if your planning on flowering in that lil space you should read up on LST. low stress training.

I have two 450 lumens flourescent lights under there now. I'll move it down when the seedlings show so they don't stretch. I was thinking of a 200 watt HPS for flowering, what do you think?

White walls or aluminum foil?

white walls, because of aluminum foils crinkle factor it doesnt reflect light very well. also that space might be a little small for a 200w hps, unless you have excellent ventilation

So I checked the seeds this morning...nothing. I'm still not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I put 5 more seeds in a different type of soil, and placed them in a pot outside...We'll see if Mother Nature can do her thing...

how big is the area? i think a good squirl cage will do the trick. maybe think about using a 120w hps <confirmation from someone i lttle more experienced please?> . o and make sure you keep the area nice and moist where you planted the seed untill it sprouts. don't let it dry up!

it looks like you need a taller box, even if you train the plants they will grow to be mayb 2 or 3 feet, if you are stuck for space an envirolite would work.
