Hi, last week i put five seeds of barneys utopia haze directly in the ground, after digging five holes and filling them with soil, but a week has passed and nothing has happened. I put them 0.5-1 cm deep and i've been watering neraly every day a few drops of water when the soil is dry. I live in Italy ant the temperatures these days have been around 68-77 during the day and around 50 during the night. I wanted to know how long it takes for the seeds to sprout? and if my seeds are still good or you think i'l have to buy new ones.

Thank you very much

I honestly couldnt tell you as i have never just put them into soil it a much better idea germinate and keep them inside till there a few inches then transplant outside esspecially when your paying for the seeds! theres still a chance they'll spourt so hopfully they will!

i would have germanted them indoors for the best possible germanation rate, but i'm not sure how long they would take to sprout, perhaps 2 weeks MAX

I done the same thing there a month or so ago and not one out of 5 fem seeds came up.

To be honest i was fuckin gutted.

As danrasta said your better off growing them indoors on a window for a month or so and then transplant to a desired location.

Theres no harm in trying but you could come to regret it like i am:cuss:

how deep did you plant the seeds. If not very deep, they should have already sprouted or should sprout soon. Did you water? If your not seeing desired results in another week, and you kind of remember where you planted them, check to see if they popped by gentley looking, and if not and you can actually find the seeds, try again indoor, otherwise, get some new seeds, or clones, and try again, :)

I dug some holes bout a foot by foot adn filled them with potting soil and planted a few mm under the soil. that was moe than a month ago.

I also dug up one of the holes to find a split seed, it was all
rottin tho. At least i didnt plant them all outside,, i still have a few at home!:hump:

start over... germ indoors, :)..... I've never had that issue with planting seeds in the ground, they have always sprouted...... Im at a 86% germ ratio. Check back on the spot later to see if anything ever does come up.....
