First grow, flowering help

Hey everyone,
I'm on my first grow and it's going fantastic so far. I've got 2 beautiful girls in flowering. My problem is they have been in flowering for about 8 days and I have yet to see any signs of flowering.

The only growth I've seen so far since 12/12 is plant height and the pre-flowers are much more apparent but there are still no more then 1 per section and larger. Should I see something else by now?

i dont think so. but im not to experienced im on my second grow. i think you have to wait a few weeks before they really start kicking in. i have two plants in 12/12 right now. they have been in for almost 2 1/2 weeks and i still dont even have signs if they are male or female... im hoping for the best. but i dont think you should see anything else.

glad your grow is going well! it can take a while. be patient. hopefully you'll see pre-flowers soon.

Hi Ben. It will take about to weeks to see buds coming out.

It could take a few weeks some times. Just be patient.

Right around 3 -4 weeks.

I usually get pistils poppin week 1, clusters forming week 2 and 3, clusters linking and forming colas 4 , 5, and 6, swelling weeks 7 and 8 and 9 is for ripening. I grow mostly indica doms obviously and veg til I see several preflowers.

Be (more) patient. 8 days into 12/12 is a little early to see signs of sex. Indicas will usually show around days 10-12 and sats a bit longer. If you look closely at the "elbows" you can likely now see little pods with 2 wispy hairs. That's a female showing sex. BigSteve.

I usually start to see hairs after a week but very little. 2 weeks in ill have little popcorns everywhere. Week 4 I have buds. Good luck
