Hey guys i just tied the plant down and i need your opinion's on how i did, again this my first time so any advice would be much appreciated thanks!. (i realize there is a deficiency on some of the leafs, im taking care of that as we speak)

I don't think it should go around the fan leaf how it is.

Try keeping the tying to the main stalk.

the only reason i have it around the fan leaf is cause its shading the nodes growing on the stem and i need as much light as i can get on the stem and nodes right?

The stem doesn't need light but the other side of that fan leaf does.

Here's a good example, make it look like this.

Keep the line around the main stalk under a node.
