First grow ever

SO around September 4th 2010 a buddie of mine came across some seeds from a grower that was exprimenting with crossing genetics. he decided to grow a female Mazar I Sharif and then pollunate it with LA Confidental. i'm calling it Mazar Confidental for now.

anyway he was asking me if I wanted a clone.. said he could give it to me about November.

He calls November 2nd.... since I had no set up or anything i told him to told it for about a week which he did ...

a week later calls... I still don't have anything set up.. another week goes by he calls and says dude you need to take this..

so I come over and its about 6-7 inches tall

here is a pic of it about a week after I took it from him.

I went and bought 4 -23 w 6500 CFLS and started to veg

yeah i'm catching up with the journal.. i had taken like 100 pics over the past 3 months.. anyway

Since I was rushed into this I just went and bought a large box from home depot. and set her up inside. (I also just realized I don't have a pic of my set up.. its totally ghetto.. lol! next grow i'll build a box/cabinet)

Now .. since this was my first grow (notice the plant has been topped) i had no idea when to start to flower it. SO I decide to veg it until the end of december which is crazy considering my grow space. lol

However right after thanksgiving I noticed the leaves starting to turn brown and yellow.. having no clue i posted on Roll it up for the first time.. everyone had great advice but what is acutally turned out to be.. it was hungry as hell.

my friend whom gave me this clone had planted it in miracle grow.. (ugh) so i timed it that I probably wouldn't need to give it nutes til January sometime.. lol yeah right..

So since I finally found out all I needed was nutes.. (went to Home Depot and bought some 10-10-10) noticed after a day.. all the yellow was turning green, all the brown edges are not spreading.

So noticing that its growing like a mother fucker I start to think about how the hell am i going to build a bigger box? well lazy as I am.. i just decided to go buy another box from homedepot and put them together.. but since I'm broke.. I have to wait til after Christmas..

so i'm wondering to myself.. should I start the 12/12? then after spending tons of time on ROLL IT UP... i realized that I better damn well start my 12/12 soon cuz this plant is going to be a beast once its done..

I knew I had to transplant it into a bigger pot before I started the 12/12 and I had just watered it so I had to wait...

So the soil is dry enough for me to repot..

I get some organic soil from Home Depot and a 10 liter pot. then I realized I needed more stuff .. like a timer for one.. a ph and moisture meter, another 2 boxes so I could create a top for the dark period. Also bought about 7 - 23w 2700 CFLS.

repotting was easy once the soil dried out a little.. just rolled the pot in my hands and it came right out. its good that I did.. the entire root system was wrapped around the dirt ....stuck it in the new pot with new soil.. watered it down.

I totoally forgot to put some sort of rock or clay balls on the bottom but it seemed to drain well so i left it. Switched out the lights
that night I started 12/12 6pm-6pm.

getting hella impatient wanting to see shoots.. knowing this was cloned from a female.. it wasn't a matter of sex.. just getting on with the process.

after about 10 days.. i see the smallest shoots coming out of the 3rd node down

sorry no pics of that.. my camera sucks.. but the first pics about 1/10/11.. the other 2 are after the first 5 days of flowering. about 1/16/11

so this is 1/21/11 about a week and 2 days after flowering and 20 days of 12/12

so today I decided to goto an actual grow shop and buy some nutes..

i get age old bloom 5-10-5

so on 1/25/11 i noticed there were bright yellow spots and dark spots forming on my fan leaves... after checking everywhere and may I add did not find any pic that looked like what was going on with my plant.. at first I thought maybe It was nute burn becuase what I did was introduce black strap molasses to the soil.

I decided to add it about 4 days after I gave it some Old age bloom and thought maybe it was burning.

had a few people tell me it looks like light burn. So taking everyones advice.. i moved my CFL's up a little and when it was time to pour something into the soil. i just watered it..

okay so here we are.. my last pics.. UNTIL I TAKE MORE!! HAHAhA!

after the water and light fiasco, im waiting til wed to feed it some blooming nutes.. man did I learn my lesson to give it straight water inbetween nutes and Molasses.

so everything is going well so far! My buddie is giving me a LED red spectrum grow board to add to the cfls'... wonder if it will work!

4 weeks 1 day of 12/12 2 weeks 5 days of acutal flowering noticed trichromes forming about 3 days prior to these pics taken

1/31/11- notice a difference in just a day.. also notice its drinking up water like there is no tomorrow.. drying out eveyr 3 days.

3.5 weeks into flowering .. been noticing some burn or something going on.. but its not spreading and it the plant seems to be okay.
although the other day I waked in and noticed it had fallen over and one of the buds got burnt... ugh..

anyway got a free cheap ass LED grow board.. a friend gave it to me..

anyway here is a few pics.
