Hi Roll it up. I have been learning stuff about growing from here for awhile now. I have finally come into circumstances which allow me to grow, so I went ahead and took a shot. I got 4 clones from a dispensary in so cal and have been having a good time with them so far. I would love some feedback because I literally don't have any friends who know anything about growing so I have been relying on just reading tons of stuff on the internet and in books. Anyway here is the specs of my closet grow:
Grow Closet: 2ft x 7.8ft x 8ft
Lighting: 400 watt HPS, ~300-500 extra watts of vertica

l cfls (adding more as they stretch more)
Medium & Nutrients: 70% MG Moisture Control with 30% Perlite, Fox Farm Grow Big, FF Big Bloom
Genetics: Two Hybrid Sativas, two Heavy Indicas. Both bought as clones from a dispensary in San Diego.Strains are two NYC Sour D, the sativas are Diamond OG and Sweet Dream
Ventilation: 4 Inch Hurricane Inline fan, Venliated HPS Hood, 8 inch circulating desk fan, and a stationary fan blowing air towards the closet. Adding on a Can 33 Carbon Filter as soon as it gets to me from Amazon.Vented air runs into the attic.
I have been growing them for a few weeks and they have just TOOK off from as soon as I adopted them haha. They did suffer a little bit of heat stress the last two days as temps in my area where pushing 100. My central air went out and my grow room got up to 100 for a day. Now its about 85-90 and I am doing everything possible to keep temps down but we are going through a huge heat wave in so cal currently. Aside from minor heat stress they have been thriving, I have just started them on grow big two weeks ago slowly and no nute burn to speak of. I started at half strength. As for watering I use about a half gallon on each plant every 2-3 days or so (its really hot so it drys quickly right now). Thats also why my HPS is a little high up right now because I am letting them cool down. My plan as far as growing them is no LST or topping, just going to put them into a single row of four soon and add about three times as many cfls and them rotate them every two days. I am just going to grow them vertically. Hoping for four big ass colas! Alright here\some pics, would love any tips or just comments, its real appreciated.
