First grow: DWC Super Lemon Haze Now Fruting!!

This is my first grow. It's going good, I'm in my first week of blooming. The grow is in a 2x4x7 tent. It's very cramped now. I'm using a 600 watt HPS bulb which makes it very hot in there. Aside from that everything is going good for the first time. Let me know what you guys think. :-P

Thanks man. I think so to I'm really surprised they are even alive. I owe it all to you guys at roll it up!

Merry Christmas everybody!! So I think I did something dumb. I cut off a bunch of leave on my main plant. I mean a lot. I don't have my camera for a few days so I cants show you guys but hopefully it will work out. I should stop drinking. I also added so CO2 in the mix. I just put some yeast and sugar in a gallon container and put it in the tent. Now when I open the tent it smells like Heiniken!. Yay!!!

They're still alive!! But my main plant looks a little sick. I guess when I cut off all those leave and didn't lower the nutes it made her sick. I cut back on them a lot so she should be ok. My shorties are all looking good though!. Check them out!

Just bought some Purple Maxx. I don't care about the purple(though I wouldn't mind) But people keep telling me that it give you bigger bud and more resin and that sounds good to me :weed:

nice grow man. i'm looking to get a 2x4 tent and a 600 watt MH to veg in. what kind of fan are you using to keep the temps down? do you know how many CFMs? also do you have a cool tube on your reflector?

No problem aram. I didn't realize that I did say how my grow is set up. It's real simple all I have is: two air pumps in two reservoirs with two air stone each. I have a 600 watt HPS in a air cooled reflector. I have one osculating fan. I have no intake fan. I use two $13 bathroom exhaust fans for cooling the bulb and odor control. I don't know the CFM. I made my own carbon scrubber from a dyi I found on this site. it was $6. I can't find a link now but it was just two pen cups a sock and some carbon. Works very well! I can't smell anything until I leave my tent open for like ten minuets. I use Pure Blend Pro Grow/Bloom for nutes.

Everything works well. It tends to get hot in my tent.It regularly get to 90 degrees. But I think it has more do with my room more than anything. I'm on the third floor and the sun rises against my window. Even before I started growing my room temp would be 90 before noon in the fall.

The tent size works fine but if I were to do it again I would have got a wider tent because it gets really crowded in there! Hope this helps. Good luck

Thanks. Yup all SLH. Sometimes it smell like lemons too. Depending on how much I like it I might try another strain next time. Chocolope maybe?

Hey all!! Here's an update on whats been going on with my Super Lemon Haze grow. The main plant is looking dry and yellow.It was a big mistake to cut off those fan leaves. :wall:

But it's still growing and the buds are getting bigger. The branches are starting to fall over. The little ones are doing great!! They are a dark green and looking nice. The only thing is I feel like they are growing a little slow. I think they are going to need a little more time to flower. I'm starting to get excited. I can't wait to see the final product of my first grow!! Welp that's it for now check out the pics.

This plant is so dry every time I look at it three leaves fall off. I was doing so good until that one day I took it too far. It still has a month left and I don't think its going to make it. I thinking about just giving it just plain water for the rest of the cycle. I wanted to wait a couple of more weeks. Is this a good idea? As for as my SOG experiment is going they haven't grown at all in like three weeks. Well I definitely learned a lot on my first grow. For any noobs out there reading this. DON'T CUT OFF YOUR LEAVES!!!! At least not most of them. :cuss:

likely that after you trimmed the plants, they went slight shock from over nute, then they began to regrow.

Well I cut them and hung them today. I'm happy that they made it this far. I think that's pretty good for a first timer. Here's a pic.
