first grow CFL

This is my first time grow anything. I've been talking to some caregivers over that last year and i thought i would give it a shot. I currently got a 125w CFL 6500k and 3 plants that have broken soil 16 day ago. there in medical marijuana soil premix. Out of the 3 plant I have i'm giving away the smallest one because I believe I have enough light to give it. If I would be able to get any advice it would be much appreciated.

Plants look great man Only advice i would give is to keep doing what your doing and perhaps after another week or 2 introduce nutes? Are you using any at the moment?

Thanks for advice. I was told that i wouldn't need any nutes with this soil, but is there something that i should look into getting or watch out for?

If its a self feed soil then i would just say to keep an eye on either the leaves getting pale followed by the yellowing of the leaves starting from the earliest sets - This will indicate the plant is needing more nutes, this happened to mine this week infact. Im using a miracle grow soil mix and still needed more.

- on the other end of the scale your soil may have too much nutes and possibly cause a nute burn to the leaves.. this is shown bye a browning or yellowing to the tips of leaves.

Thats all i think you will need to know for now Good luck im sure all will be fine.

Looks great, its a mirror of mine at that age. Mine are only now 24 days old and will be put into flowering this coming sunday ha.

With me a step ahead i hope i can help you along the full grow

Those look great, you can keep the lights really close to the plants if you're using cfls. I use self feeding soil too a d messed up a few good plants by experimenting around and adding extra nutes so I'd be careful about that.

sorry i haven't posted in a while classes are really taking control of my life right now but i have a little time so i thought i would share some pics.
one of my plants got a little burned from touching the light from overnight growth. also the im babysitting the little one in the front for a week along with another light. the 2 in the back were topped about a week ago. its day 27 and here is how there looking.

Nice! I love cfls. How do you keep your box cool with those lights? What type of soil are you using those look very healthy!

Today there 33 days old and i have switched to 12/12 with a 2700k bulb 2 days ago. I've also made a ghetto scrog net.

Nuckyt, I've i live far north and its cold up here already my temp is usually about 75 with the light on and 62 with it off. I'm also using Michigan medical marijuana soil premix.
