First grow. Bubbleponic, 400w MH/HPS.

What's up fellow smokers/growers? I figured it was about time that I make one of these things so here goes. This is my first grow and heres what it consists of:

- 400w MH for veg, 400w HPS for flower. Aircooled hood.
- DIY bubbleponic setup with 4 5" net pots and 18 gal res (only fill with 6 gal).
- Humidifier.
- Stanley blower fan attached to hood and venting through ceiling to attic.
- Oscillating fan.
- A few timers.
- NO co2.
- Strictly Ionic nutes. Grow for veg and Bloom and Boost for flower.
- Grow space is a 4' w x 2' deep x 9' h closet.

I have been keeping a journal from the beginning documented on paper that I will most likely type up tomorrow. In the meantime, I do have some pics and a brief timeline that I can sketch for yall.

Planted 4 (bag seed) seeds in rock wool to germinate.

3-9-2009

All seeds germinated. Immediately put under 400w HPS, 18/6. The HPS was all I had at the time.

3-16-2009

Switched bulb to MH.

4-9-2009

Switched to 12/12 and flowering nutes.

Switched back to HPS bulb.

Added mylar to room.

So thats kind of a rough idea of how things progressed. Now heres some pics:

Now here's a little problem for the know it alls to figure out. What causes my leaves to look like this? I'll throw a few pics of my grow room in their too. You can't really notice it, but I added 8 2700k cfls for side lighting on saturday also. I noticed it could use some better light down there. $30 for the extra 7200 lumens is totally worth it IMO.

Well I pretty much neglected this thread due to lack of interest. I did harvest about 5 days ago after flushing for a week. Its looking good and this herb looks fucking white!
