Well... after some inspiration from this forum and a great deal of my own curiosity, I decided to start a grow.
So far I'm in the works of building a box, since I have my own house I'm just building a plywood box, 4x4x4 and putting it into one of my spare bedrooms. So far I have the plywood put together with some 2x4 supports. Haven't put the door on yet, or decided if I want to partition it for separate veg/flower areas. But I think I will. I have a 600w HPS/MH coming in the mail anytime. Since I can't afford 2 different lights, i'm probably going to use the HPS for flower and set up a light bracket with a bunch of CLFs attached to it so that I can move them up and down for the Veg side. Not sure what I'll do yet for a fan, I'll probably just cut a hole on top for each side (veg/flower) and put some kind of fan leading to a DIY carbon filter. And of course I'll paint the inside of the entire thing a flat white.
As for soil and nutes. i'm just using the MG that I have laying around since it's only bagseed anyway. When I actually invest in some seeds I will also invest in soil and nutrients.
I'll post some pics once I get it rest of the way together. Probably within the next couple days because a few of my seeds have germinated. Anyway, thanks for everyones help. Everytime you respond to someones question you're answering it for many other people who read the forum.
