First Grow! Bagseed in the closet :D

So I guess its about time to start a journal!

Using some seeds that I've had sitting around for months. Some from schwag, some from mids, and some from headies. So basically I have no idea how they'll turn out XD

So for the moment my setup consists of:
1x 40w Fluoro bright white tube
1x 40w Fluoro Tri-color tube
Both in one ballast.
Have a fan aimed up at the ballast, so its not only reflecting the light but wind to.
This is in a 3x6 foot closet.

Very open grow, as in I don't need to worry about getting caught. (Living in the Vermont hills finally pays off)

Germinated about 20 seeds, 15 took, planted them all and planned on keeping 4 or 5 of the best.

Medium is a soil mix of 2 part Organic 1 part MG seed starter. Didn't wanna use the MG, but the organic alone seemed a little to heavy and needed to be cut.

sweet dude, this is SOO classic.. bagseed grow in closet.. I love it.. keep 'em growing bro.. good luck!
PS.. make sure you transplant them before those roots get bound up in those little silo cups..

Oh yea, already transplanted 3 of the biggest, got like 1 or 2 others that will be transplanted soon. The rest I'm afraid I'll just be watching as they die

Painful indeed, but I just won't have the room for anymore

ok first off nice mexcan sativa/hybrids. your gonna need much more light bro. much more. and while they may end up to be good smoke when done dont expect it to be some forreal dank. good luck

Yea, the Ballast is just gonna be used for the tops, I'll be getting a bunch of CFL's this weekend and hopefully will find somewhere that sells Mylar around here.

And yea I don't expect it to be to dank, this is more of a training grow. Didn't wanna buy seeds and fuck it up with lack of experience

So I attempted to FIM one of the plants about 5 days ago, and it just looks like shit to me now. Any input on this? I'm pretty sure I musta fucked it up.

Heres some quick pics of day 32. I'm pretty sure they were a little under watered. It had been about 8-9 days since last watering, and the leaves began to slightly curl and the very tips of some leaves have a faint yellowing.

I watered them yesterday, a good helping, made sure it soaked through the bottom (I can't believe how much it takes before it starts dripping

)

I think they're looking a little better now. Anyone know how long it usually takes for them to get over it?

So the time has finally come! All 3 of the plants are a little over a foot tall, one of them around 20 inches. Time to start flowering :bigjoint:

Just went out and bought 3x 26w 2700k CFL's. I know I need more, but I'm pretty sure my father got me a shit load of lights and growing materials for Christmas, so I don't wanna spoil his gift. These 3 along with the tubes in the ballast should be plenty for just 2 weeks right?

Those new lights should work well for the next few weeks.. be sure to just add them to the setup, don't worry about replacing them with the old ones (run them ALL). It's good for the plants to get a wide spectra of light during all stages.

So its been about a week and nothing is showing just yet. I can see the very start of the preflowers, but not big enough to really see anything.

Is this a good sign? I understand males show a lot quicker then females, but every day without them showing hair is getting harder and harder D: If any of them show me those disgusting balls I'm just gonna cry.

Somehow I've stumbled onto some amazing fucking luck with my first grow and gotten a 100% Female ratio from Bagseed!!! :bigjoint:
