First grow auto Question

My plants are about a foot tall and i see the white almost clear pistils showing off the main stem and bud sites..this being my first time with autos should i put them under the hps now? and do a 12/12 regiment? I know the longer the lights are on the better for autos when budding but i dont want my utility bill to be more than i have too. let me know thanks!!

My Ak-47 is 33 inches and under 20/4 for the duration-70 -75 days.
Day 70 will be 12/14. Autos love the light.

is it possible to use 24hrs of light during veg on autos?, I know they love the light..But they love the dark also.

ive used 18/6 and read of people using 20/4..

Yes, im comfortable and im sure my ladys are with 20/4 However im still to find out if it is possible to give them 24Hours of light during the VEG stage?

Hope someone can answer this for me.

I would not do 12/12 I would do 18/6, maybe 16/8 if your trying to save some power. Anything is possible but 24/0 just waste power imo I believe the plant defaults into sleep/rest mode for the min. time It needs. which is why they should be given a break, a little rest.

i see about the 24/0. I did read somewhere before that it was possible thous i did want to have it verified, anyway i wouldn't put my ladys through that. as you stated they need rest.

It IS possible to do 24/0 and myself have done it. But I got my best results from 20/4.
