First grow (Auto flowering White Widow) opinion about when to harvest needed!

Hey everyone, i'm a little worried I won't know when to harvest when my plant hits its most optimal yield potential. I've been reading since before my first grow and now that its coming down to the end i'm still unsure. I know to keep a look out for the pistols and their coloration and I've also read and been told about the milkiness and the clearness of the trichomes but I would like some advice from someone who has actually been through this. I would also appreciate any criticism you guys might have about my plant...any comments are welcome. If you guys want to see more photos let me know, I have a shit-ton!20140609_105921.jpg20140609_105209.jpg 20140609_105300.jpg 20140609_105852.jpg

That is a good looking auto WW our friend here on RIU. Not sure if you are doing it already, but my outdoor plants all get a foliage spray every day (top's and bottom's) of leafs and the flower's saturated. I use a light mix of GreenCure, but anything that protects from insect infestation is good. You can see some little signs in your pictures. IMO, you should be putting your 30x scope on the trichs in 3-4 weeks from the taking of the pictures. Keep us posted friend. Peace

Those buds look pretty dece man, but ww packs on a buttload of crystal so she'll hopefully get even frostier

I wish I had a pic of the widow I as getting it was so frosssty looked very similar to ur bud too obbv lol.

Some of the bigger buds had a blue tinge in spots too :s

@bird dog thank you for all the advise. I actually have been spraying but only once a week, in the past I was ignorant and did not apply the right amount of dilution, therefore my first WW died on me. I just recently applied some spray to the WW I'm showing and her fan leaves did not respond well. She was beginning to exhibit the same signs of stress but luckily I caught it in time and the other leaves were not affected. This is why she she appears the way she does. I am just a little frightened now that she is approaching harvest. I hear that if they exhibit signs of stress they can sometimes not make it due to their fragility in the flowering phase. I took a look at your product and it seems quite nice. I might have to give it a try soon.

Yep, if you don't start spraying when they are in the propagator and then into veg, most plants will stress and usually at the bottom. Many people do not foliage spray at all. Its what makes you happy and doing what you think the girl needs (lol). You've done a commendable job already, but get us some pics! Peace bro :weed:
