First Grow.... Any suggestions?

This is my first grow and im working with a clone of a Super Skunk strain :weed:

. Each of my lights are 26 watt/100 watt replacement CFL's :cry:

and im in my 2nd week of flowering.

I've also been giving it a bit of nutes from time to time through vegg and now in flowering im giving it a bit once every 3rd watering and molasses each watering period.

This is also in an aprtment so im limited, and broke....

This is a sloppy set up but its what i had lol

Any idea on how much i may yeild? I know it can be hard to say but i have to ask.

And someone remind me how to resize cause i know these are way to big :confused:

at least your growing but figure someway to get a 400w or something.I think mollases is a waiste but thats me.I know if you must grow with cfl go to bulbamerica.com when you have some money buy a high watt cfl made for growing they come as big as 95 cfl watts I think.That should make some nice buds

Go to wal-mart, they've got 65w CFL's that are a warm white and they run cooler than the 26watters, no joke. They're like 9 bux a piece but when I used CFL's, they really made a big difference.

if you're gonna use CFL's, the most efficient ones in terms of watts/lumens output is 26watt lights.... go no bigger than 42 watt lights.... 65+ watt CFL's generate too much heat for the light they put out.... not worth it, might as well do HPS.....

try and get the lights 1 inch or so away from the foliage to get the most out of the CFL's.... right now they are WAAAYYYY too far away......

you might want to get some zip-ties so the plug-to socket contraption doesn't slip out of the extension chord.....

I gotta say that is one crazy looking plant. Lol. I think if you can you should make some makeshift pie tin reflectors or something to keep all of your light directed at the plant.

well i have it set up where i can lower all the lights and raise them as much as i want and they have just been pulled up higher within the last day b/c i thought i was starting to get heat burn on some of my tops. The 2nd and 3rd photos are two diff. stems but are the tallest ones, they just seemed burned? But if it would be good to get them back closer i def. will.

Ive also only got 11 more weeks keft on my lease so i have to move, and im harvesting her in about 8 weeks from today. (total of ten weeks flowering)

I see alot of purple for the super skunk. She may be stressed alil. You could always try and trim the dieing sun leaves and a dash more water. For some more extra light reflection try a car sunshield if you dont feel like mylar and move the lights as close as possible without burning her.. If you treat her good for the remainder of your grow you could see easily see 2.5- 3 oz min.

Going to have to agree with Mr. Ganja. HPS right now would make all those bud sites double in size QUICK. I am a Fan of CFL's but mainly for Seedlings/Early Veg .
a 400 HPS or even a 250 hps. If thats not possible then take your light setup and make a circle or two rows and get them close, most important is your light cycle whatever schedule your doing
make sure when the lights are off . it dark no light through cracks or doors . Dont beat yourself up , its your first grow have fun and enjoy your smoke.

alright man thanks, im gonna have to def look into that. Do you think it would still make a difference if i got one in there about half way through my flowering(it might be then before i can afford it)

Well yes an HPS will give you more bud, but there are alot of People who have grown with CFLs and have done
excellent, and i havent personally done a comparison to see but from looking at your grow . I may try it . I Veg with CFL's and Love it !!!!!
so i will be searching through the Forums to get edjumacated .
I am comfortable with HPS . Your strain will bud quick the the reason i said 250w HPS ( light closer to plant less heat issues. 1 plant.) or 400 w HPS and your space 400w will cause heat issues and is ALOT of light for that one plant. it would take four of the fans to keep the heat off the plants and thas just a GUESS !!!!!
a 250w will run about 89.00 w/o shipping ,

I also use molasses, you have to be careful it will cause Iron issues.
and it does work wonders with selser water or club soda , i was running a 400w on the pic below
1 1/2 ' X 3 ' about 4 1/2 'H had serious heat issues due to the summers here.

Keep in mind its your first grow Have fun ,
the Plant can endure alot
its weakness is TOO MUCH stress
