First grow: Aerogarden + CFLS

Well this is me and my friends first grow, we went half and half on the aerogarden and it is at his place. At first we started 4 seeds, about 3 weeks into the veg stage one of them died off and we just had to remove the other two because our biggest was overgrowing the smaller ones.

The Aerogarden has a nice air pump and a long airstone that takes up the bottom of the aerogarden and it mists the roots quite well. Been using the Herb nutes that came with the aerogarden and tap water. Also have three CFLs of different spectrums hanging over plants.

Tell me what you think!

P.S. Hoping its a fem!

NOTE: Been flowering for around 1 week and no signs that I can see..

Anyone have a guess as to what it might be from the looks of it?

Once you put it into flowering, it takes about 10 days to show sex. How long did you veg for? Also, for big tight juicy budds you should invest in an hps light system.

Been flowering for about a week now. And as far as the HPS that would be awesome! But for right now I am in college and out of a job so things are kinda tight!

I'll take some pics first thing when I see any signs of sexing.

I had it in veg for 6 weeks.

At least you got a few! I'm only riding on 1! but I'm definately going to start up a fresh batch if thats a male. Now that I have got my aerogarden set up like it should be they'll be less stressed than the plants from this grow.

Well just alittle update.. Its a fem! Hairs are starting to come out everywhere and we just got two more CFLs! Things are looking really healthy and it smells like straight dank! Really happy especially since this is my first shot at growing!

Also threw in a pic of a monster J I rolled.

Lookin good, i would get some reflective material on those walls, losing alot of potential lights, i got an AG too, check out my thread in my signature

you really should get some reflective material up on the wall, your losing light, they look good, but they would look alot better with some more lighting

Yeah the grow box is definately only half way complete. This grow has been really crazy because we had to switch locations halfway through the grow. But the little room we have it in is perfect! I just reconfigured the lighting and mounted a power strip way at the top so all the lights hang from above. I also removed that stupid bar that you can see in the pics that the plant was about to grow into.

Right now we are still having light leaking out so until we seal up the whole grow room we probably won't put much on the walls. But when this plant is done we will probably coat that B in mylar or sumthin..

flat white paint works super good

or if the budget is low just get the emergency blanket or windshield reflector

looks good man cant wait to see ur yeild
