Hey everyone,

This is my first grow I'm not positive of the strain I'm growing. The 4 plants in cups broke ground on November second. I am using 4 23watt cfl's held about an inch of two above the plants, and i am watering with ph corrected water every 2-3 days. My soil mix is 50/50 coco and regular potting soil.

they look a little over watered but they are fine. They start off slow but pick up the pace significantly in the next few weeks.

depends on your soil, but yeah 4 weeks is a good rule of thumb. If you see the tips of your leaves die with in a few days of adding nutes just back them off. The soil I got was 25% worm casting so when I puts nutes in at 4 weeks they burnt. Im at 6 weeks now and only gave them nutes one other time. Just switched to flowering a couple of days ago

The coco should be good. I would only water when they get dry like stunned said and start nutes (week 4-6) at about 25% recommended dosage and see how they react. I use 100% perlite in my grows now and I see almost immediate results from my nute dosages. I would also get them out of the solo cups asap. When you transplant, it wouldnt be a bad idea to mix in a bit of perlite.

Does that potting soil have any time released nutes? If so, no nutes!! I dont recommend any version of Miracle Grow unless its your only choice...then absolutely no nutes for a good 6-8 weeks or you'll fry them. I would recommend getting some Fox Farms Ocean soil for the transplant. Look for a hydro store near you. They usually carry it.

you would be better of with just regular soil(nute free)mixed with perlite.
60% soil 40% perlite.
coco reqs different nutes than regular soil(dont mix soil with coco).
just go soil and perlite its easiest to control.
and again just regular top soil or potting soil will do(NUTE FREE PH 6-7).
most regular soils are of a neutral ph(7.0).
