First grow 57 days in, few questions

Alright just a few questions if ya could help - my first grow. The taller plant is the auto cheese, and the other auto northern lights.

I planted these in the soil after germinating on October 21st. The taller of the two germinated quicker and shot off. This is my first grow and for the first week and half the light was way to far away and caused the plants to stretch. Here they are at 3 weeks old:

How far in would you say they are? how long left? I'm assuming the Cheese is a lot further on than the Northern Lights because it's started to bud. Also, just in general are they doing/looking okay? and will the fact my plant has stretched cause a lower/higher yield?

I don't know why, but on both plants there have been 2 leaves at the bottom of the plant that went yellow and dead so I pulled em off. Does this happen usually? there have been no other signs of bad health. Also, not enough cash to get the proper soil and nutes tho i get i probably should have. Heres a few pics anyway, cheers.

you still have a long time to go friend, have you switched the light schedule yet? in order to form buds they need to be on 12 and 12, best of luck

Awful news, haha. & no are you serious? I read up a lot on the lighting and it seems people go roughly 18-6/20-4 with autoflower plants? The cheese I'm growing has started to bud, hasn't it?

A long time is pretty disconcerting too lol, could you narrow it down I really am not sure?

i didnt realize it was an auto, it doesnt seem like they are very good autos, if i werre you i would give them more dark time, i think those seeds were bad, the one that started flowering has at least 6-7 weeks the rest have 60 days from when they flower, minimum, GL

How much light do you have on them? Probably need to add more. Just my .02

Yeah, either that or lower your lamp right on top of them.

alright sound mate, and I've had them on 18/6, what would you recommend 16-8? and why if you don't mind me asking I'm curious. Cheers

Yeah I've got 2 lights, 6500k & 2700k 30watt they're usually a few inches away.

Go buy another 4 pack of 23w cfl and a few 'y' splitters. You can get a pretty decent grow with about 6 of those bulbs. I had 5 grow my last plant, and i am pertty pleased with the yield and quality.

Yes not enough light is the problem here.Get more and they should take off.

more light for sure gonna get a wicked shit yield with what you have prob wouldnt even be worth the wait
