First grow 4 days into flower

4 plants Scrog
2x2x5 grow tent
250 watt hps
FF HF soil, FF nutes
3 gallon grow bags

I know its to early to tell im in 4 days of 12/12 , but do you think i can get a half pound or is the space to small?

No definatly not. Pro grower try to achieve 1gram a wat so at max id say 250grams but probably half this would be an average yeild, your grow is small to so aim for few ounces at worst. Peace

thanks! Well i hope i do above average lol cause i spent about an arm and a leg and a bong on everything.
 
Small grows dont handle the heat from big lights so well, if your 250watt is heating the grow up a lot a 400watt will be overkill, somthing to consider. Peace
 
well i dont pay electric...i rent a flat rate...all utilitys included. i run a oscilating fan though, and a 125w actual full spectrum cfl as well for side lighting in a 3x3 space...i have heard though that it could bump your bill like 10-15 bucks more a month...no big thing.

im looking for a place like that myself lol.. What if you ran 2 1000 watt lights?? can you get away with something like that, while only still paying the flat rate?
 
Yea the 250 in my 2x2x5 tent is perfect.. Later down the line when i get better. ill use this as my veg/ clone tent and upgrade

Ahh this is what i did, my first grow room is now my veg room when i upgraded and got bigger better stuff, i start a plant a week and harvest one a week in a perpetual grow, much better than one grow at a time. Peace

eh...i certainly wouldnt push it that far...i have a neighbor above me...has an a/c or 2, and we have one...i might try 2 600's but just because i have a neighbor, and the meter is all in one...
 
I would also advise more power do base x width x height of your room and divide the answer by 250(light) now that is your watts per square inch. You want atleast 25 watts per square inch but for high grade product and yields shoot for 50watts per square inch or higher

Also call your power company and find out when off peak power times are and run your lamps then. It will only shave off 10-25% but after a year it adds up

250 grams is more than half a pound.but he should get probably around 3 or 4 ounces.

i have grown in a space as small as his using a 400 watter.you just need the correct ventilation and everything will remain a good temperature.
