This is my first Grow ever. I did quite a bit of research but only after I started with germination.
I don’t know if I have males or femails yet or if it’s Indica or Sativa.
I Did get some “Good Shit” auto female strain that I’m awaiting to arrive. I want to make sure I’m set up right before I start working on a good strain. Just want to get to harvest and go through the motions.

Some details on grow and setup.
strain: unknown (my first grow so some seeds from a bag I got) there were LOTS of seeds.
Grow tent: 2x2x4
Exhaust: 4”cfm in-line duct fan.
Light: growers choice 315 CHM 3K-R (usually for bloom but going to use for my whole grow time.) set at 190w, 315 w was keeping the tent at 85 - 95 F
Growing medium: coco coir
Food: 3-2-4
PH: 5.0 - 6.5
Temp: 76 F
Humidity: unk (building is at 48%)

Time from start: Week 4 (W4)
Know issues: too hot at 315w with tent closed or 1 side open
Changes: started plant in coco coir added Miricle grow after Week1 grown in a metal cup. Middle of week 3 removed Miriclengrow and change medium to organic Coco Coir with perlite into 1 Gal fabric magic pot.
Started feeding with veg 3-2-4 late week 3.
Possible issues: spider mites (working on solution to resolve)

Subbed bru, looking good so far. Always good to keep a few sticky tapes in the tent. Sucks about not being able to run the light at full power

I’m thinking of using this type of solution to kill the spider mites
how-to-get-rid-of-spider-mites-with-rubbing-alcohol
I’ll do this at the end of the “day” cycle and then mist with a PH’d filtered water about 1 hour before I cut the lights on.

I sprayed my plants with some organic garlic pesticide when I had spider mites the one time so I know the struggle bru. Hopefully you get that bastards sorted. LoL

Got my humidity and temp gage.
Looks like I need to try and get that Humidity up
Will be using dawn and water (1Tbls Dawn to 1Gal water) hope to at least get the, undercontrol before they get worse. At least I can tend to my plants almost at any time)

I'm onboard! I'm rocking a 315 CMH as well now. I was told that the CMH won't provide the full proper light spectrum at partial power so you may want to work on increasing your ventilation so you can turn it back up. 85 degress is fine during light on hours, that's what my tent hovers around. I just have my dark hours during the hottest hours of the day.

My room my tent is in stays around 70-75 during “lights on”. I don’t want to use a portable A/C unit, and look of course to keep costs down. Maybe something home made?

Sprayed my little ones with dawn and water mixture, then watered with nutrs over plants. All look healthy still today. Still working on my heat problem.
Have set to 190W again and will close up the tent and see how they do.
Left the window open to let I. Some humid air. Worked well, the. Immediately dropped back down when I left the door to the room open.

Things are looking good. Whatever you treat for spider mites treat 3x every 3 days. So first treatment, 3 days later the second, 3 days later the third.
As far as sexing goes you’re still a ways off. I’ve had bad luck sexing in veg only so I take cuts and flower the clones.

That early on, your first grow, with bag seed (of which you have more seeds), you are probably much better off ending the grow and sterilizing everything, killing all of the mites with straight up bleach, because they are just going to show back up in force if you don't when you start a grow where you mean business. I don't think it's a good idea to run a test grow with unknown bagseed while you know that spider mites are breeding. Just my 2cents though.

What makes you think you have spider mites to begin with so early on?

I had a small yellow area on one of my plants. When I started to look closer I could a bunch of little dots. I should have taken a picture then. But I’m going to keep treating, which I did 3 days ago and will go again today. They were also on the under side.
I’ll have to wait and see since I can’t be 100% positive. If it starts to get bad or I notice again, I’ll stailize.

I’ve made a bug change to my setup. My light was just too hot for my small area. I’ve gone with 2 CFL’s and added a larger computer fan for an intake fan. Right now it seems to be doing much better. I’m just not sure what spectrum these lights are. Doesn’t say on the box. Though I’m sure they will work while I’m veggin.

Update. On the CFL’s got the ones for flowering. Just amazoned the daylight 6500K build will be here in a few days.

Don't do it. I stressed the fux outta a plant with that sheet once. It does kill sheet though.

Well doesn’t look like I have any mites or maybe I was seeing things before.
Just brought in 2 CFL 45 W 6500K for the little ones. Looks like they are doing well even the few in the tray. About to abandon this grow and start my auto of “Good Shit”. Plants are going to a good home and I’ll refocus my efforts to this auto.
