Did some LST on my plants this morning I’m a first time grower here so any tips or advice is welcomed!!! They really started growing great once I got my kingbrite 240watt QB instead of the cheap 60$ Amazon LED. So they are a bit behind where I would want them but they have 3 nodes and growth has been explosive since setting up the new LED so I did a little bit of LST and will top once they have 5-6 nodes. I plan to scrog my 6 plants in a 2x8ft6in space in 5 gallon smart pots using purple cow indicanja organic soil and after vegging for 30-40 days using roots organics terp tea bloom formula along with RECHARGE. Once again any tips or advice is welcomed I’m new to the forums... ✌
Strains:
•BLUE HASH
•BLUE OG
•LSD
•PURPLE AYAHUASCA

Seem a little too early for lst but still looks good.
That is not enough light for your space but if you get 1 more of those kingbrites u would be perfect.
If you are planning to scrog i would not top at all just keep up with the lst and once the net goes up start tucking the tops to fill the net imo.

I ordered a second kingbrite 240 qb so I’ll be good on lighting and ya I do feel like I was pushing it but they have 3 nodes and decided as long as I’m not really pushing down hard and just tie them carefully to the side I would be alright. I guess I was a little impatient about it. Is there anything else you suggest? I plan on going half strength with the nutrients at first.

Not really at all they look nice and healthy.

Wouldn't lst for awhile bud. They still need to grow. You wouldn't wanna stunt any growth. But that's from what I've read and common sense based on growing myself. But they look healthy. Let em stretch their legs a bit before twisting them backwards. :) Happy growing.

Once you have them in their final resting place ie: bigger container. That's when I'd lst. I'm not a soil grower so I can't give much advice on strength of feed but I usually only feed half strength in dwc but I had a strain I'm growing currently (skywalker og) and they started getting deficiency early and I concluded that it's because they eat more than the other strain I've grown previously. I say feed half strength and if they show deficiency then up it.

Gonna beat a dead horse but no need to LST until you have lower budding branches . I’m attaching some photos of my current grow and when I decided to start LST’ing to show you what it should look like. First pic shows my plant after I topped at the 5th node. 2nd pic just shows the large Dan leaves blocking light to the lower branches. Third pick shows budding branches are long enough and it’s right before I LST’d

Ya I jumped the gun but i don’t think there was stress to the plants I just fixed one tie and it didn’t take much to put the branch under it but will wait to do any more training.

Yeah no doubt you’ll be fine. I look at it as you just began shaping your stalk early. As of right now it won’t do much but in the future it will already be shaped to help with future lst. Good luck !
