first grow 250 hps

hello everyone. im working on my first grow and i have a sativa plant that is 27 days from germination. the plant is 38 inches tall right now and im wondering how much bigger it will get and how much longer till i should flower. i was thinking about waiting another month but it keeps growing so fast i may run out of room since its in my closet. im using soil and a 250 w hps for just 1 plant. any help or advice would be appreciated.

can anyone help out a newbie here? do i have a plant that is just gonnna be huge or should i start to flower. thanks

remember, when the plant flowers it doubles to triples in size... i had sativas that i flowered at 27 in.. the plant turned out to be 7 ft tall. Hope this helps

Look a bit hungry, are you using nutes? Yep, better watch out on the stretch with those sativas. You'll out grow that 250 in no time.

im using nutes. just fed it today actually. well do you think i could tied it down to help prevent it from getting too tall? i guess i should start to flower then if its gonna more than double in size

sure can, sometimes I lighty snap mine. Here's a pic of the last sativa I grew.

do you guys know how long i should to expect to start seeing the sex? bc it hasnt preflowered i was wondering if the stress would make it male or hinder the growth of the plant?

usually shows sex within a few weeks of changing the light cycle.
