Looks good so far, Watch out on overwatering though, I would water till some runs out the bottom then wait till the first inch or so starts to dry out then water again, every 3-4 days. Thats my opinion.

Yea..take it easy on the watering. I water every 5 days or unless they tell me they need water ASAP. Don't just go by the soil being dry..listen to your plants.

Other then that, looks good.

You can't time your watering like that in my experience so far, you just do it when it needs it. When I first transplant to a larger pot I may not need to water but every few days, but it seems that within a week I need to water every day.

If you are watering every day there are some other problems contributing to that. Are they drooping a lot when you water?

thanx all for ur tips.....

I water every day, they are in 10qt pots and they just soak up all the water that fast. In 24 hours it's dry more then 2 inches down and even the drainage holes are dry, in 48 the plants are drooping from lack of water. If I water them though they perk back up in a mater of 20 minutes.

I'm a newb though, but it's my opinion at this point that you can't just say water x days because it depends on too many factors. But like I said I am a newb and may change my opinion at some point.

Those are some pretty big pots for them to be going dry so fast. What type of soil are you using?

Yea you're right, every plant is different, but from what I've experienced so far, every 4-5 days or so is about time for them to be watered again. I can even get away with 6 days sometimes. I've never encountered someone that has to water every single day yet.

Mine are in 3.5 gallon pots.

Fox Farms ocean forest, I am like 25days into flowering. Sorry for the thread hijack by the way.

As far as the homemade C02 thing my only advice is to let it sit off to the side for the first 20 minutes or so until it's done spilling over before you put it right next to your plants and get a bunch of ... foam on your plants.

i'm usin the 1 gallon pot for now ...

and here some pix of the CO2 system :P
