I thought you had dreads in your Mexican video. Did you have to cut them to blend into society so the assassins wouldn't recognize you?

And it's not just the shifting of the age, The Mayans knew a lot more than people think, and the COULD predict astroligical events QUITE well. It seems obvious that in addition to the shifting of ages, they could have also predicted the alignment of all the planets with our sun. I think the biggest thing to watch out for is hiccups in the power grid, if anything happens at all. Supposedly there are gonna be some sick nasty solar storms around that time due to the alignment of the plants and the sun, coupled with the fact that the sun is at the peak of a Solar cycle. Blackouts caused by solar storms are a very real thing, and well documented within the last few decades.

Basically. I went through Tx to get back to Colorado, so I had to not look like me.
Exchange the word "society" for "non smokers/non me's" and "assassins" for "police" and you're right on the money.

Those aren't predictions though, those are calculations. They didn't "imagine" these alignments, they ACTUALLY figured them out.

ok, here's why you're wrong fins.. the mayans never took into account for leap year.. their end of days was about 12 or so years ago, so much for that theory.. next..

From what I understand is, that ancient societies used the stars in many ways and for a great many different reasons. The Mayan are no different, they were very intelligent in regards to their ability to map the stars. The calender you're speaking of is based on the earths elliptical orbit, which rotates 1 degree every 72 years, will a total revolution taking approximately 26,000 yrs. The ancient people used astrology to mark this passage of time, noting that as the earth rotated it did so by passing through the 12 zodiac signs/houses. It just so happens that this year 2012, more specifically the 21st of December will begin the next 26,000 year cycle. So the Mayans were more likely pointing out that this "age" is about to end, not so much as the earth it's self. There are certain, shall I say quirks that have been known to show up around this time and that's what I think has most people concerned.

The Milky Way, I believe is our galaxy and we are moving through it. I don't know what else to say about that. I don't believe there's a black hole in the middle of it though.

It's not that I don't believe in "our" black hole. It's that I don't believe in ANY black holes. We have never truly seen one, or sent anything to one. All we have seen is a black smudge on a telescope that seemed to have gravity. While that smudge is evidence of something (I don't know what) it is in no way "evidence" of massive black gravity fields that operate by the rules stated in the scientific society (look up black holes on YouTube, people actually think they know how they "work".

And I don't know what is holding the galaxy together, but I could make some theories that are just as valid as the black hole one. Space was punctured, and we are being flushed down a galactic toilet, therefore falling in the same direction and "being held together". There's a giant invisible spider in the middle, and we are just caught in a moving, invisible, galactic web. There's a giant fish type monster in the middle with its mouth open and it's sucking us all in.

I can keep going if you'd like.
