First dwc, will i get 1g/ww

This was my first go with any hydro. Flowering under its own 600w hps. Wonder if i will get close to a g per watt. Havnt really done better than half g per watt doing organics but this might be close. Hydro is so easy! This thing is drinking about 1 gal a day now and is gonna get chopped in less than a week now. Strain is JOTI purple kush. Nutes are gh flora lucas formula, hydroguard, and silica blast. This plant was a beast, veg was so fast compared to soil!

No sorry but that's not 1gpw, not 0.5 gpw either. You would either have to veg longerand spread out the plant during veg and transition, possibly with a scrog. Or, use more plants. Lot easier with 4 or more.
 
If a pound is 454 grams, then to pull 1GPW you'll need to get 21 oz of dried, trimmed, saleable product if you're using a 600W lamp.

That's a pretty plant, but your setup isn't quite there yet.

The ScrOG suggestions above are a great place to start.

It's a worthy goal, I look forward to seeing you hit it next time!

No idea on yield but that is a pretty plant :)
 
Not wanting to burst your bubble but you will be lucky to get 0.5 gpw, there is only a few things you need guidance with to get even close to 20 ounce you need to veg for about 10 weeks with a scrog net, that 20 or 25 litre bucket is fine for veg but you need probably twice that in flower, then you need to scrog that lady through the first 3 weeks of flower to open her up cos at the minute your only getting light to the top few buds and the rest isn't getting light below, hps don't penetrate that far down, once you open her up and give her more root space you will definitely seen an improvement on yield
 
Everyones shattered your dreams already so i will too. I would guess five to six oz. gorgeous plant though. Dwc is so easy huh? Next time veg er another month and get a net ready because youll need it. You can pull almost a pound from a 600 pretty easily. Nice work.
 
I've only managed to get .6 gpw under a 600w with 3 plants.

Im switching to 2x2 screens with 4 2x2's under a 600w. I hope to get closer to the 1gpw.
 
No dreams shattered here...it was a success for me to just finish a plant in a hydro setup. I learned alot from this one. 5 zips is a good guess and probably what it will yield dry based off the 5 or 6 plants of this strain i already harvested in soil. Atm i have 14 clones vegging and am planning on lsting them to open them up. This strain is the bushiest strain i have ever grown. Believe it or not the photos i posted were after i removed about 50 fan leaves and they were very much so blocking light from lower budsites, alot of light green buds under those tops. I was wanting to build a screen and scrog but would a 4x8 packed full be a pain in the ass to water?
 
Fan leaves dont block light.

The majority.of the light passes thru leaves.

I made screens that fit right on top of my dwc buckets. So when it comes down to watering u just lift the lid and the whole plant will.lift up with the lid.

They were about $10 a piece to fabricate. Id buy them if I knew of places that sold em.
