First DWC grow issue

And all you have added is the GH 3 part? No organics like aloe or any shit like that?
Also, obvious but I have to ask....is there any sediment in the GH bottles?

Yeah that sounds like really bad nutrient precipitation.
Liquid nutrients still start as powders that GH mixes and bottles so it could still be pulled out of the solution.
The only thing that makes sense to me is that you're getting some weird reaction thats causing the minerals to separate from the water.

No the gh bottles are all clear ( except the micro of course that looks like liquid shit). Only things ive used are the gh nutes and the ph down. Im going to dump and re-wash the tub again to see if there was something left inside it

Micro shouldnt be looking like liquid shit. The only one I know that looks like that is FloraNova, which can be considered an organic.

I mean its dark in colour, its looks like any picture ive seen of it. Bottles are only about a month old or so, and they've been kept in a cool dark place for the most part

oh lol.
I took that as being thick and lumpy

Ya, same here. I love the smell of the Micro lol
I think @Kipn may be on to something with the Chloramine in the water. It dont bubble out and majority of municipalities use it now. 270 ppm from tap is a bit high. If you have a britta filter or something like that, see about running a small sample in the filtered water to see if it still does it.

Im pretty sure we still use chlorine only, but will have to call the water commision on monday to be sure. They just switched from a surface water system to a large well system about 1.5 years ago so other then the quality reports im not able to find the filter process on the city website

270 is CRAZY HIGH. you need to and I mean NEED TO invest in an RO system my friend. Drop the $100-200 on an under sink one from Lowe's/Home Depot and hook it up to a 50gallon barrel or use a strong tote and add a spigot on the bottom. Throw the line from the RO right at the top of it with a float valve and it will always be full for you to use when you need it. Trust me when I say it's simple and very, very worth it.

^3stage will get you to 0ppm. Avoid the 4-6 stage ones as its just more money in filters to replace that you don't need.

Comes in a 3pk, but Walmart has them in black in singles for $20.
Also, make sure to put the spigot on one of the bottom corners on the shorter walled side and use something like wood or whatever to slightly prop the back and opposite side of the spigot in the front UP to have gravity take the water to the spigot. Using 6, 5-gallon buckets turned upside down works great as a base to set this up on top of so you can fill stuff up under the spout. Like buckets or even better, 5gal jugs.

I have pics if you need help doing it. Its seriously easy. RO water on demand will change your game in a HUGE way man. Trust me. It makes RDWC a much, much funner and more rewarding experience. You'll need to use GH CaliMagic first in your nutrient mix though. But that ain't no thing.

High pH water doesn't always mean high calcium or magnesium.

My water pH is 10.3 and only has 15ppm calcium and 4ppm Mg.

Get an RO filter 270ppm is junk water.

Airwalker why do you keep saying use calmag first? I was always told to use it last.

Calcium has to be separated from sulfates and phosphates.

I always add my mix and let it mix in and THEN i add calcium nitrate.

Because it's correct procedure to add CalMag first. I promise you.

Meant no disrespect. Was just wondering.

Your plants look fine as do mine and we do it different so clearly it doesn't matter as long as you aren't mixing concentrates together.

My nutrient manufacturer says differently and JR Peter's supply to some of the biggest greenhouses in the country and not just for cannabis.

Ive seen or read some info on why it needs to be first on account of it locking up other nutrients out if not used first. They could be different types of calmag with different properties I assume though.
