First DWC Grow Any Suggestions?

I have two DWC tubs that look similar to this...
Each has 6 5" pots filled with hydroton. I planted 7 Blueberry seeds and 5 random bagseeds and they are on their 5th leafset, and it is time to decide how I am going to grow these. I have two 4 foot t5 lamps, each with 4 bulbs. I have the containers setting end to end, so it is a 6x2 plant setup. I am having a hard decision whether I should top any of them or not with such a small distance between each plant... Should I top any of the plants? Perhaps the ones on the ends of each tank because they will have more room to grow to the side of the tank? Or will this crowd the grow space too much giving me some weak buds.... Please help i appreciate all advice and I must make a good decision because I don't want to have any mediocre bud

I would put them side to side not end to end, you will get more out of the lights if they are side by side not end to end. And 6 plants in each will be crowded. Better to spread them out, 4 in each.

Thanks Illegal Smile...I'm expecting about 4 of them to be males anyways so i will probably have 8 in the end...what about topping them?

yowereu get them netpots at cuz im useing soda cans with a lot of holesin them an i cant do that..... ifu kno real fast cuz im brakeingmy neck lookin for them an i cant find shitt.... but put your lights kinda close like 3 inches from plant an u will be fine cuzz with this system, u just plant them an watch the green grow, thats y i love this methed( an the water farm buckets are good 2).....

Why not top a few and let a few go? Then you have a little experiment running.

Im using the same system, I have 4 plants in mine tho. And i topped all of them. Its only the 6th day of flowering but the plants are looking great, and not touching eachother so the light is hitting the entire plant. If your putting 6 or 8 plants in it i wouldnt top them, but thats me. Good luck.

Or try what you said, and top the ones on the end.
