kiss-assThis is my first time growing using the proper lighting.
The first thing i bought was from ace.
It was a portable cfl light I used for the germination period.
I germinated about 20 seeds that i had gotten out of some decent regs just for fun.
Out of the 20, about 15 sprouted. Out of the 15 I transplanted about 5 and finally of the 5 I only kept 3.
During the second week i bought 2 40 cfl shoplights with reflectores that each hold two bulbs. I used these throughout the veg stage and they work PERFECT.
They cost around 10$ for the holders and a set of two bulbs costs around 5 bucks with tax. so youre looking at $30 bucks all together. acehardware
I let the 3 plants, which I decided to use as mother plants grow for about 4-5 weeks before deciding to clone.
I took about 3 clones from each plant. I used shaultz rooting hormone. which you can get for $7 at at store like homedepot;]
the clones seemed to have a hault in growth for almost TWO weeks and i thought they failed to root until finally i seen new production of leaves. out of all the clones only 5 survived so i have a total of 8 plants in my closet which is about 5x5
the three mothers are at about week 8 of veg and the clones are at almost week 4.
I also used a humidifier for a couple weeks, i suggest that.
if you clone try putting a heating pad under the plants since roots look for warmth
I also used water straight from the sink. i didnt use any ph although if i wasnt as lazy and didnt have work or school i would have.
soil= regualy miracle grow
few fans
i also bought a 400w hps bulb that ill use to flower
im buying some bloom bust of some sort to use throught flowering
2 weeks before flower use stright water
veg= 18 of light 6 hours of darkness
flower= 12 hours light 12 hours dark[undisturbed]
ill try and use some sort of c02 system
on the right conditions and sucess id hope to start flowering in 3 weeks and have buds by the end of october early november.
sorry for the way these prictures are put up i couldnt figure out a better way .
so ill post more of the finishing of the clones vegetation stage and then the flowering stage and finally the beautiful harfest.
all these are females luckly so lets just hope for the best. plz comment and add suggestions
