The dude is charging $300-$500 for Purple city genetics clones that cost $18 here in SoCal. That’s 1700-2800% tax mark up. On top of it lumpy doesn’t even know who the guy is. And his charging $1000 for his cut LOL. Be careful guys.

im sure most of his buyer are people who don't have access to clone or are in a illegal state, plus 300$ is nothing when u can grow that plant and get one or two ounces and sell it and get your money back or take more clones and sell them to people. not defending the guy or anything but no one is going to be selling any clone online rooted for 20$ of something that is consider elite right now.
How scam works:
When it’s $18 on the shop he is charging $500. It’s scam. And don’t give me the BS about illegal states. I told him right upfront I’m in Los Angeles. I believe he is here as well. He decided to give me this pricing.
It seems you are defending his prices. Maybe you work for him or have a relationship? There is no way you don’t want people to know that 2800% mark up is not outrages.
It cost about $20 to do a tray of 72 clones.
72x500=36000 per tray.
For Brbeery Og that you can get at Buds and roses in LA for example for cool $18.00

I wouldnt buy clones from anyone at this point. seen anecdotal evidence that most of these clones come along w one of a few plant virus. and the ones that don't are most likely dipping their clones in stuff you probably don't want in your system. if you do get them I wouldn't flower them directly. at least make your own clones and flower those.
also I feel your frustration about his prices being stupid high. but I dont think this is quite fair to call it a scam. that would be if he was taking money for one thing and selling you another, or straight up not sending you anything.
if his cuts are clean, and he has the selection, I could see the attraction about being able to source a couple old legit elite cuts from one place. I had a lot of hit or miss experiences that wasted a shitload of my time when I was starting out. I cant knock the hustle and I can't say I would pay those prices but someone will.
and also,, I live here too. going on six yrs. last I checked they sell t shirts for $450 on Melrose Ave. you really want to start trying to make sense of what prices people are willing to pay here? LA baby!
